The Gulf of Mexico is Dying

A Special Report on the BP Gulf Oil Spill

By Dr. Tom Termotto

It is with deep regret that we publish this report.  We do not take this responsibility lightly, as the consequences of the following observations are of such great import and have such far-reaching ramifications for the entire planet.  Truly, the fate of the oceans of the world hangs in the balance, as does the future of humankind.

The Gulf of Mexico (GOM) does not exist in isolation and is, in fact, connected to the Seven Seas.  Hence, we publish these findings in order that the world community will come together to further contemplate this dire and demanding predicament.  We also do so with the hope that an appropriate global response will be formulated, and acted upon, for the sake of future generations.  It is the most basic responsibility for every civilization to leave their world in a better condition than that which they inherited from their forbears.

After conducting the Gulf Oil Spill Remediation Conference for over seven months, we can now disseminate the following information with the authority and confidence of those who have thoroughly investigated a crime scene.  There are many research articles, investigative reports and penetrating exposes archived at the following website.  Particularly those posted from August through November provide a unique body of evidence, many with compelling photo-documentaries, which portray the true state of affairs at the Macondo Prospect in the GOM.

Phoenix Rising from the Gulf
https://phoenixrisingfromthegulf.wordpress.com/

The pictorial evidence tells the whole story.

Especially that the BP narrative is nothing but a corporate-created illusion – a web of fabrication spun in collaboration with the US Federal Government and Mainstream Media.  Big Oil, as well as the Military-Industrial Complex, have aided and abetted this whole scheme and info blackout because the very future of the Oil & Gas Industry is at stake, as is the future of the US Empire and War-Making Machine which sprawls around the world and requires vast amounts of hydrocarbon fuel.

Should the truth seep out and into the mass consciousness – that the GOM is slowly but surely filling up with oil and gas – certainly many would rightly question the integrity, and sanity, of the whole venture, as well as the entire industry itself.  And then perhaps the process would begin of transitioning the planet away from the hydrocarbon fuel paradigm altogether.

It’s not a pretty picture.

The various pictures, photos and diagrams that fill the many articles at the aforementioned website represent photo-evidence about the true state of affairs on the seafloor surrounding the Macondo Prospect in the Mississippi Canyon, which is located in the Central Planning Area of the northern Gulf of Mexico.  The very dynamics of the dramatic changes and continuous evolution of the seafloor have been captured in ways that very few have ever seen.  These snapshots have given us a window of understanding into the true state of the underlying geological formations around the various wells drilled in the Macondo Prospect.

Although our many deductions may be difficult for the layperson to apprehend at first, to the trained eye these are but obvious conclusions which are simply the result of cause and effect.  In other words there is no dispute concerning the most serious geological changes which have occurred, and continue to occur, in the region around the Macondo wells.  The original predicament (an 87 day gushing well) was extremely serious, as grasped by the entire world, and the existing situation is only going to get progressively worse.

So, just what does this current picture look like.  Please click on the link below to view the relevant diagrams and read the commentary:

An AUTOPSY of the BP Gulf Oil Well at the Macondo Prospect

As the diagrams clearly indicate, the geology around the well bore has been blown.  This occurred because of drilling contiguous to a salt dome(1), as well as because of the gas explosions which did much damage to the integrity of the well casing, cementing, well bore, well head, and foundation around the well head.  Eighty-seven straight days of gushing hydrocarbon effluent under great pressure only served to further undermine the entire well system.  Finally, when it was capped, putting the system back under pressure forced the upsurging hydrocarbons to find weaknesses throughout the greater system, which revealed all sorts of compromised, fractured and unsettled geology through which the hydrocarbons could travel all the way to the seafloor and into the GOM.

(1)“The rock beds in the vicinity of a salt dome are highly fractured and permeable due to stress and deformation which occur as the salt dome thrusted upwards.” (Per BK Lim, Geohazards Specialist)

We also have faults* to deal with in this scenario of which there are both deep and shallow.  Depending on the current vital stats of the blown out well, especially its actual depth; the number, location and severity of the breaches throughout the well system; the pressure at the wellhead; as well as the type and status of geological formations/strata it has been drilled into, these faults will become prominently configured into the future stability of the whole region.  Larger faults can open up much greater opportunities for the hydrocarbons to find their way to the seafloor via cracks and crevices, craters and chasms.  In fact the numerous leaks and seeps throughout the seafloor surface, which are quite apparent from various ROV live-feeds, give testimony to sub-seafloor geological formations in great turmoil and undergoing unprecedented flux.

*“Once the oil gets into the shallow faulted zones, we have an uncontrollable situation.  The place where most of the oil and gas is coming out  is at the foot hills of the continental shelf as shown in figure 134-1 in the article “BP continues to dazzle us with their unlimited magic”.  The discovery by WHOI of the 22 mile long river of oil originated from these leaks.  So the leaks will be mainly along the faults where I have marked (shallow) in “What is going on at West Sirius” and deep strike-slip faults (red line)  on fig 134-1.” (Per BK Lim, Geohazards Specialist)

Just how bad is this situation? There are actually three different ongoing disasters – each more grave and challenging than the previous one – which must be considered when assessing the awesome destruction to the GOM by the Oil & Gas Industry.

I.  A single gushing well at 70 – 100,000 barrels per day of hydrocarbon effluent for 87 days into the GOM at the Macondo Prospect along with two smaller rogue wells

II. Numerous leaks and seeps within five to ten square miles of the Macondo well with an aggregate outflow of an unknown amount of hydrocarbon effluent per day into the GOM

III.  Countless small gushers and mini-spills, leaks and seeps, throughout the Gulf of Mexico, where oil drilling has been conducted for many decades, with an aggregate outflow into the GOM that can not even be estimated, but is well in excess of any guesstimate which would ensure its slow and steady demise (not too unlike the petrochemical cesspool known as the Caspian Sea).

It is the last scenario which we all face and to which there is no easy or obvious solution.  The truth be told, there currently does not exist the technology or machinery or equipment to repair the damage that has been wrought by the process of deep undersea drilling, especially when it is performed in the wrong place.  Therefore, wherever the oil and gas find points of entry into the GOM through the seafloor, some of these leaks and seeps will only continue to get worse.  Here’s why:

Methane gas mixed with saltwater and mud makes for a very potent corrosive agent.  Under high pressure it will find every point of egress through the rock and sediment formations all the way up to the seafloor where it will find any point of exit that is available.  The longer and more forcefully that it flows throughout the fractured area, which is dependent on the volume, temperature and pressure at the source of the hydrocarbons, the more its corrosive effects will widen, broaden and enlarge the channels, cracks and crevices throughout the sub-seafloor geology, thereby creating a predicament that no science, technology or equipment can remedy.

Dire realities of the methane hydrate predicament

The Macondo Prospect in the GOM is just one of many throughout the oceans of the world where the seafloor has beds of methane hydrate locked in place by very high pressure and low temperatures.  Likewise, there are myriad repositories and large “reservoirs” of methane clathrates in the sub-seafloor strata, and especially within the more superficial geological formations, which are being greatly impacted by all oil and gas drilling and extraction activities.  It does not take much imagination to understand how the upsurging hydrocarbons (very hot oil and gas under high pressure) are quickly converting the frozen methane hydrate to gas, thereby causing innumerable “micro-displacements”, the cumulative effect of which will translate to larger “macro-displacements” of rock, sediment and other geological formations.

When you factor in this constant vaporization of methane hydrates/clathrates both sub-seafloor as well as those scattered around the seafloor surface to the existing scenario, this devolving situation becomes that much more difficult to effectively remedy.  With the resulting shifts and resettling and reconfiguration of the entire seafloor terrain and underlying strata occurring in the wake of these dynamics, we are left with a situation that is not going to get better through the use of even more invasive technology and intrusive machinery.

Question: How many times can you grout a seafloor crack that was caused by an underlying superficial fault after drilling into an old mud volcano?

Answer: “In the attempt to seal the oil from oozing through the faults, BP resorted to high pressure grouting.  Basically it is like cementing the cracks in the rock by injecting grout (cement mixture) at high pressure. The way they do this is by drilling an injection hole into the shallow rocks and pumping in the grout. The grout in “slurry” state will permeate into the cracks, cure and seal up the cracks. However it is not working because of the presence of gas and oil. It is like super-glue. You need to clean the surfaces before you apply the glue; otherwise it won’t stick and will come off eventually after a few days or weeks. That is why we can see a few blown out craters – shown in my article – Is the last rite for the Macondo Well for real?(Per BK Lim, Geohazards Specialist)

Likewise, how do you fill a newly emerging gash in the seafloor which is caused by a deep fault due to low level seismic activity, or worse, a full blown earthquake?!

Seismic activity in the GOM and the uptick in earthquakes in the Mississippi River Basin and surrounding region

The oil and gas platforms that were in operation throughout the northern Gulf of Mexico in 2006 (per Wikipedia).

We now come to the most serious issue regarding the relentless drilling for oil and gas throughout the Gulf of Mexico.  The map above clearly illustrates the density of drilling throughout the northern GOM as of 2006.  Likewise, the map below demonstrates the extraordinary and increasing intensity of these very same operations off the coast of Louisiana alone.

Green lines represent active pipes (25,000 miles in all). Yellow dots represent oil rigs.

The map that follows, however, tells a story which demands the attention of every resident of the GOM coastline.  The video link below the map shows the development timeline of the successively deeper wells being drilled during the last decade.  Of course, with greater depths come much greater risks, as the technology and machinery have not been proportionately upgraded to accommodate the extraordinary demands and unforeseen contingencies of such a speculative and dangerous enterprise*.

*Oil and gas drilling in seawater depths of over 4000 feet, and through 15,000 to 25,000 feet of the earth’s crust and mantle, is considered extremely dangerous to those from whom reason and common sense have not yet fled.

Gulf of Mexico Oil Rigs: 1942-2005

It’s critical to understand the location and current activity of the various faults which exist throughout the GOM and how they connect to the New Madrid Fault Line, as well as other major faults at much greater distance.  There does appear to be a emerging uptick in earthquake activity in the greater Louisiana area, as well as contiguous regions in the GOM as demonstrated by unprecedented, albeit low level earthquakes.  Correlations between these earthquakes/seismic activity and major operations at the Macondo Prospect have been alluded to in our previous postings, as well as by many recent articles explaining the inevitable subsidence which occurs when prodigious volumes of oil and gas are removed through drilling in the GOM.

Just how much oil and gas have been removed from the GOM since drilling first began there in the ’30s? More significantly, how might substantial movements of the GOM seafloor (due to undersea volcanoes and earthquakes) affect the 28,000+ unmonitored and abandoned wells which are highly concentrated south of the Louisiana coastline?!

24,486 permanent and 3,593 temporarily abandoned wells in the Gulf of Mexico

Gulf of Mexico Subsea Structures May Be in Seismic Danger Zone – Part 2

Now then, the question remains just how vulnerable has the GOM been made to a truly catastrophic event, ending up with an overwhelming displacement of water producing tidal waves, in the aftermath of an undersea earthquake.

There is no question that the ceaseless fracturing of the seafloor and fissuring of the sub-seafloor geological strata by the Oil & Gas Industry has set up a quite conducive environment for HUGE unintended consequences.  We leave it up to the experts to conduct the necessary risk assessments, which will most assuredly let loose a sea of red flags about what Big Oil has done, and is currently doing, in (and to) the Gulf of Mexico.

Furthermore, we are deeply concerned that, if a permanent moratorium on all new oil and gas drilling and extraction in the GOM is not put into place poste haste, the coastal communities will remain in a very precarious situation.  The most immediate concern relates to the combination of ill-advised drilling activity (conducted in spite of geohazard assessments/recommendations) with unpredictable seismic events, which could trigger undersea landslides at the shelf edge causing massive water displacement.

Worsening GOM predicament is reflective of the status quo around the globe

Now consider the following scenario: that this very same predicament, which we have all witnessed in the Gulf of Mexico, is happening wherever oil and gas drilling is conducted in the various water bodies throughout the planet.  Therefore we can multiply the Macondo Prospect disaster a hundred times and still not come close to the impacts that these ongoing gushers and spills, leaks and seeps are having the world over.

Perhaps the BP Gulf Oil Spill was the defining moment in modern history when all the nations of the world community were called by Mother Earth herself to begin transitioning the planet away from the Hydrocarbon Fuel Paradigm.  After all, we may never get another chance!

Author’s Note: This short reality check was made possible by BK Lim, Geohazards Specialist (Click here for CV), whose research and analysis of the BP Gulf Oil Spill have proved invaluable to ferreting out the truth of this unprecedented environmental devastation. BK provided figures 137-06, 136-3, 1h and 137-01 including the commentary, which only an experienced and highly skilled geohazards expert could furnish with authority.  He is also responsible for many of the articles/essays posted on this website, as well as some that are linked to this article.

ADDENDUM:
There are two very significant topics, which have been not been discussed in this report, that beg for acknowledgement and further attention in light of the title:
The Gulf of Mexico is Dying
Both of these problems are highly consequential and therefore merit separate papers in order to give them the treatment they deserve, if we are to understand why the GOM is slowly dying.  Until those papers are completed, we offer the following short summaries:

#1  The wanton and indiscriminate use of the dispersant, Corexit, turned an extremely serious regional disaster into an unmitigated global catastrophe.

How so?  The dispersants Corexit 9500 and 9527 both served to interact with the oil in such a way that much of it sank to the bottom.  It also caused much dispersed oil to be held in suspension within the water column, as well as carried with the currents to and fro in amounts which can only be guessed.  There is an emerging consensus that, because of the overwhelming volume of Corexit which was dispensed throughout the GOM, the Loop Current, which has historically guaranteed the flow of the warm Gulf waters into the Gulf Stream Current, has been fundamentally altered.

The most obvious consequence was to profoundly slow down the turnover of water into and out of the GOM.  By curtailing this natural, rejuvenative process, the Gulf has become a more stagnant body of water, with significantly less opportunity to cleanse itself.  Even the normal hurricane pattern in the GOM slackened precipitously this past hurricane season, thereby diminishing much churning and mechanical action which can be helpful to the natural breakdown of petroleum and its many byproducts.

Of course, the real unknown here is how dramatic and lasting the effects a stalled Loop Current will have on the Gulf Stream’s influence on the weather of Great Britain, Continental Europe and the contiguous land masses. By many accounts the recent meteorological developments, especially in Northern Europe, are being viewed with great apprehension about what the future weather patterns will bring?  Many are concerned that a tipping point has already arrived and that this sea change will irrevocably transform a way of life.

What else do we know about Corexit from an environmental health perspective?

How many times have we all heard that dispersed oil is at least four times more toxic than oil alone?  Here are the test results from the EPA study, as well as the EPA link:

(1) 10.72 parts per million (ppm) of oil alone will kill 50% of the fish test species in a normal aquatic environment within 96 hours.

(2) 25.20 parts per million of dispersant (Corexit 9500) alone will kill 50% of the fish test species in a normal aquatic environment within 96 hours.

(3) 2.61 parts per million of dispersed oil (Corexit-laden) alone will kill 50% of the fish test species in a normal aquatic environment within 96 hours.

National Contingency Plan Product Schedule Toxicity and Effectiveness Summaries

“Crude oil has proven toxicity at 1 part per million, with constituents like benzene exhibiting genotoxicity in the parts per billion range. The dispersants have made the oil “disappear,” according to the mainstream media, and yet we have marine toxicology documents PROVING that the dispersants PREVENT the natural break…down of some constituents of the oil, e.g. the lesser soluble hydrocarbons such as naphthalene.” (Per Gulf Oil Spill Truth)

Not only is the dispersed oil much more toxic, it is now virtually impossible to remediate in its current micronized or nano-sized state.  Disappeared they did to the oil, and so did they to the various technologies and methodologies which would have been effective in cleaning up oil alone.  Now we are left with a predicament that requires a form of mitigation which must be conceived, before it can be tried and tested.

In the meantime the entire GOM food chain (including those who continue to eat the seafood) is concentrating these newly formed toxic byproducts in their tissues, the effects of which will gradually wend their way through the bodies of each and every organism that is exposed to them.  Just how poisonous to life dispersed oil is we may not know for years, nor does any government-funded research institution seem to be in a hurry to find out!

Both Corexit 9500 and 9527 were sprayed liberally for many months both on the GOM surface, as well as undersea.  The officially reported amount is shown below; the covert spraying continues to this very day in volumes which can only be determined by reviewing the disbursement records at Nalco Holding Company.  The photo above (Fig. 137-06) , in addition to much anecdotal evidence, unequivocally demonstrates continued dispersant use up to this very day, which therefore indicates a much higher volume used throughout the GOM.

Surface dispersant used: 1, 072,514 gallons
Subsea dispersant used: 771,272 gallons
Total dispersant used: 1,843,786 gallons

Consider what Wikipedia has to say about 9527: “Corexit 9527, considered by the EPA to be an acute health hazard, is stated by its manufacturer to be potentially harmful to red blood cells, the kidneys and the liver, and may irritate eyes and skin.[14][24] The chemical 2-butoxyethanol, found in Corexit 9527, was identified as having caused lasting health problems in workers involved in the cleanup of the Exxon Valdez oil spill.[25] According to the Alaska Community Action on Toxics, the use of Corexit during the Exxon Valdez oil spill caused people “respiratory, nervous system, liver, kidney and blood disorders”.[16] Like 9527, 9500 can cause hemolysis (rupture of blood cells) and may also causeinternal bleeding.”[4]

COREXIT being offloaded according to strict OSHA procedures

The following link offers a more in-depth discussion of how this unprecedented mixture of massive amounts of dispersant, oil, methane and radioactive hydrocarbons have forever altered the energetics of the Gulf of Mexico. It is then much easier to understand the unanticipated and immediate stalling of the Loop Current in light of these critical changes to the GOM fundamentals.

Environmental and Health Impacts of the BP Gulf Oil Spill

#2  The deeper the geological source of the hydrocarbons, the more radioactive isotopes present in the oil and gas.

That hydrocarbons pulled from the bowels of the earth have a scientifically verified radioactive component(s) is the dirty little secret of the Oil & Gas Industry. So secret in fact that, if it were to get out, this single scientific fact would seal the fate of the entire industry.  It also undergirds the correct understanding that oil and gas are both abiotic in nature and abiogenic in origin – facts which cast a refreshing light on the notion of Peak Oil
Yes, we have reached Peak Oil, but not because of the untenable Fossil Fuel Theory which has been known to be false by the Oil and Gas Industry since its inception.  It has been asserted that the Macondo Prospect sits on a reservoir of abiotic oil the size of Mount Everest, one of the two largest batholiths with proven oil and gas mega-reserves in the GOM.  However, that doesn’t make it economically feasible or technologically prudent to extract; nor is it smart to engage in such utter folly, as the sinking of the Deepwater Horizon dramatically demonstrated.

Soon after the BP Gulf Oil Spill began there appeared a headline which was more telling than them all:

“They’ve Literally Punched A Hole Into Hell: We Need A Crash Alternative Energy Program Now, Assuming We Even Survive”

Mantle-generated hydrocarbons come from very young geological formations deep in the earth, and are the product of extremely powerful geo-thermal forces.  The presence of radioactive isotopes such as uranium, thorium, radium show up in much greater concentrations the deeper the well bore is drilled into the earth’s crust, and are ubiquitous throughout the mantle.  Therefore, the hydrocarbon constituents, which are actually found in the interstitial spaces, porous rock formations and quaternary sediments and are scattered everywhere because of their liquid and gaseous states, exist within and around this highly radioactive environment.
How radioactive is the hydrocarbon effluent upsurging from the wells in the GOM that are drilled at 12, 15, 18, 20, 25 or 30,000 feet through the crust and into the mantle?  Here’s a link to the American Petroleum Institute website that will partially answer this question:
Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM) in North American Oilfields

Here’s another link to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency website page entitled Radiation Protection that shows just how serious this matter has become from an environmental health standpoint.

Oil and Gas Production Wastes (Naturally-Occurring Radioactive Materials identified by the EPA)

Whenever there is a higher concentration of methane gas in the mix of oil/gas that comes out of any given well, it means that:

“The more methane that is present reflects the amount of Uranium and Thorium in the oil reserve. The deeper the oil, the younger the radiological decay is that produces helium.”

“Helium is a naturally occurring gas formed in oil reserves. So common that helium detectors have been used to discover oil reserves. Helium is an inert gas known to be a by-product from the radiological decay of uranium and thorium. Uranium and Thorium are known to be in great quantities at greater depths. Yes, radioactive elements occur naturally and can be found and detected in smaller amounts in shallow oil reserves. Oil reserves that do not produce large amounts of methane also lack uranium and thorium. The presence of methane is proportional to the presence of uranium and thorium, both radioactive elements.”

“The energy coming from uranium and thorium decay is thought to be the most significant energy source inside the earth,” Tolich said. “So this is the driving engine for things such as tectonic plate movements, volcanoes and earthquake. We are looking for neutrinos, particularly electron antineutrinos … coming from uranium and thorium decay inside the earth. The uranium and thorium is distributed all through the earth in the mantle.” (Per http://oilandgasleaks.wordpress.com/2010/12/11/urgent-radioactive-oil-from-bp-blowout/)

Uranium, thorium neutrino research could determine Earth’s age, energy production

From our many discussions with those knowledgeable at the OSATF (Oil Spill Academic Task Force) here in Tallahassee, FL, it became evident early on in the spill that the percentage of methane of the total hydrocarbon composition was quite high.  Some observed that it appeared to very slowly decrease, yet remained high right up until the capping of the gusher.  Hence, we know that this oil spill in the GOM has a very definite radioactive component which must be addressed.

Please understand that we are not suggesting that the fish will start glowing with radiation; only that long term exposure to low level radioactivity has its obvious consequences to all living organisms.  In the meantime, those living on the GOM coastline ought to introduce copious amounts of seaweed (e.g. kelp) into their diets.

Where it concerns the release of radioactivity into the waters, there is simply no way to put this genie back into the bottle within the current scientific paradigm  … unless there is alchemical science yet to be revealed or new age technologies to be developed.

As we said in the introduction, “It is with great regret that we file this report.”

May we all do our part in spreading the awareness of these realities, so that many more of US will be in the position to make informed decisions about where we live, work and play, what we eat, our health and safety, our livelihoods, our families, our communities …  …  …  and our shared environment known as Mother Earth.

    Dr Tom,
    An excellent article that should spur the world to act and act fast. But do the govt of the first world countries care? Do the oil companies (other than BP) and the industry really care?

    In all honesty and through the countless efforts I have tried to bring up the safety and data fraud issues – first among fellow colleagues, within the geohazards companies, to the consulting QC companies, to the oil companies and lastly to the governments and regulatory bodies in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia and Australia; all efforts have been unsuccessful. Even in the months before the Montara Mega Oil Spill in Australia in August 2009 and Macondo BP’s Mega Oil Spill on 20 April 2010, our warnings of oil-related disasters due to an industry-wide apathy to Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) issues all fell on deaf ears. This is a risky business with high stakes. But all the companies (from contractors to QC consultants to Oil companies to Regulators) had all been blinded by greed and high oil prices. The higher the oil prices, the less regard to HSE.

    In the last 5 months, we have seen exactly the same reaction by BP, Anadarko, Transocean, Halliburton and the US Govt – APATHY.

    • BK,

      It was only because of your exhaustive research and continual input that this report could be written.

      All of us are indebted to you for your dedication to the truth, and commitment to a cause which is distant from your own back yard.

      With much respect –

  2. Tom says:

    This piece started with integrity and devolved into a oil based “Inconvenient Truth.” It ends up no better the Al Gore does with his climate warming gambit. To take what happened in the GOM and conjecture that the same is happening everywhere oil wells exist is the same non-science that AGW people use. By his own statements, the best solution for the GOM right now is the same one that BK Lim suggested ages ago – drill a half dozen wells into the reservoir and and pump it as fast as can be tapped. Will the floor collapse? Who knows, but the oil will cease seeping if the pressure is reduced. This piece sounds like it was an attempt to tie in the GOM to bolster the AGW crowd and their carbon tax. Until we find a way to tap into an energy source that can replace carbon fuels, we need to develop the safety technology that allows tapping the carbon fuels as safely as possible. This caterwauling over oil serves no purpose unless the purpose is going back to the 1800s population levels, and I would like to think about 5 billion people might resent that being the only choice.

    • Tom, you apparently did not read the article above. And, if you did, you have arrived at an understanding which is completely out of touch with the realities on the ground (seafloor).

      Please feel free to seek further clarification from BK Lim. If you are still not clear, then you may direct your inquiries to us at:
      OilSpillSolution@comcast.net

      • Tom says:

        Did I read it all? No. Did you? I can say, however, I have read every piece that BK Lim has written, including when the comment was made that you can’t put the cork in it, so the best thing to do is drill more wells and start relieving the pressure.

        I can only say the same thing. This piece is a condemnation of carbon fuels, not of the oil industry “as it could be” with adequate research and development for safer practices. I agree that there is more then enough oil “on shore” to supply the needs and that drilling off shore isn’t really necessary at this time. But this is not about where oil should be drilled, it’s about condemning carbon fuels and the impact on the global climate by innuendo. This is a carbon based world with a carbon based ecology. It’s time to wake up to the reality that with higher carbon dioxide, plants flourish, with lower, they don’t. But when it comes to energy, until you have a working alternative, and please don’t talk about solar and wind farms, there is little alternative. At least carbon fuels “waste” is naturally recycled, which you can’t say for the nuclear industry.

    • BK Lim says:

      I wasn’t really sure where you were heading to in your first comment. I take AGW to be the abbreviation for Al Gore’s Global Warming. If you are wondering or poking for evidence that our work has been funded by some vested AGW interests, be informed that you are just wasting your time. We were all drawn together by our common quest to unearth the truth and our disgust for the unscrupulous profiteering and exploitation of our home planet through covert means disguised as economic development, technical advancement, safety, political stability, poverty eradication and all other good intentions.

      It may be hard for those with selfish interests working purely on monetary rewards (be it from oil companies or the global warming syndicate or the CO2-carbon Tax advocates) to understand but there are millions if not hundreds of millions out of the 6 billion people on this planet who care enough not to forsake their integrity, conscience and humanity if they only know whole truth. That is why they (the powers that be, TPTB) are so scared of the truth. See how they panicked on news of the wikileaks because beneath the “powdered and whitewashed” complimentary messages were the raw ugly truths.

      As Howard T Lewis and many others had pointed out, decades of indoctrinations by vested interests had kept the population divisive, apart and bickering in order for the “evil few” to pull the puppets strings, to plot political and economic schemes behind the turmoil. Divide and Rule. How many of the “explosive bombs” of racial resentment, social discontentment, political differences and religious sentiments had been initially sparked by those who had to the most to profit?

      That’s why whenever a truth movement gets traction, there is so much “dirt and half-truths” dumped on it to prevent it from ever sprouting beyond its infancy. Who is more dangerous? Tony Hayward of BP who was ultimately responsible for the Mass Destruction in the Gulf or Julian Assange of Wikileaks for whistle-blowing? Why was warrant of arrest issued for Julian Assange and not the other?

      When I first started to study and analyse the BP’s mega oil disaster, many wrote to me about the conspiracy to bum off the population at the gulf for a sinister reason. I could not believe then that such a grand evil scheme could be conceived much less executed. Now, after 5 months I am not so sure. “Accidental Disaster” could be a new way of getting out of a financial crisis for a company in a tight spot. Arson which had been the conventional favourite is now easily identified by forensic investigation. Financial scams like Madoff, Enron, Countrywide and other fraudulent tricks had been used and dried up. Offshore disasters look like an interesting and attractive option to exploit given the impunity status.

      There had been persistent rumors of “empty” survey vessels being sunk for insurance claims. Underwater equipment “deliberately lost” at sea can be another lucrative mode of compensation since the internal components are more valuable than the rusted shells of mal-functioned equipment. “Accidental Disaster” could have been manufactured and there are enough people in the industry blinded by short financial incentives to look the other way. Welcome to the age of “Mass Deception & Robbery in broad daylight”.
      ~~~~~quote from Tom~~~~~
      “This piece is a condemnation of carbon fuels, not of the oil industry “as it could be” with adequate research and development for safer practices.”
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
      NO this article was not written in support of one industry over another as you (TOM) have tried to insinuate. It is written to bare the truth, to convince people of the unthinkable; that people could be evil enough to cover up their crime of mass destruction and not think of the future disastrous consequence of their actions. Most of us cannot fathom the abyss of immorality we have sunk ourselves into, in the pursuit of insane material wealth, power and position. Our revelations are supposed to wake up the population into taking actions and giving Mother Nature a helping hand in the right direction. Those of us who worked hard on this cause sacrificed more than you can imagine. We give without the expectation of financial returns, rewards or coercion. Nothing is more powerful than that.

      More than 100 years of over-dependence on oil has proliferated sufficient viral parasites to control the top management of the oil industry to bring it to the present ZOMBIE state of health; looks good on the outside but rotten to the core. I am speaking from experience here. There are enough regulations, researches and safety procedures for the oil industry to operate safely. But that is not the real problem. It is the enforcement of these regulations, the prostitution of principles and integrity, the self preservation and greed that had permeated industry-wide. If you are in the industry and are still oblivious to all these, then you are like 90% of the oil industry employees – too highly paid and too afraid to lose the material wealth and creature comfort especially in today’s uncertain economic times.

      The same corruption, prostitution and parasitic control would also set in at any industry over-depended by the world like oil is. If water is as limited as oil the same would happen to the Water Industry. We need to solve the problems with oil now. We have millions of people all over the world involved in the oil industry. Any transition to a new energy has to be gradual. We are locked up in this desperate over-dependence on oil because of the deliberate delay in transitioning to a new energy. Even as soon as the prospect of a new energy is viable, the price of oil will drop. There is definitely a deliberate and concerted effort to keep Us Hooked On OIL to keep the oil companies hugely profitable and maintain their grip on the economy and people.

      ~~~~~~quote from Tom~~~~~~
      “But this is not about where oil should be drilled, it’s about condemning carbon fuels and the impact on the global climate by innuendo.”
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

      The geology, geotechnical circumstances and geohazards do make the difference. The earth is not uniform. So you are definitely wrong here. I do not see any condemnation of carbon fuels by innuendo but the message that BP was criminal in covering up the disaster was loud and clear.

      ~~~~quote from Tom~~~~~
      “By his own statements, the best solution for the GOM right now is the same one that BK Lim suggested ages ago – drill a half dozen wells into the reservoir and pump it as fast as can be tapped. Will the floor collapse? Who knows, but the oil will cease seeping if the pressure is reduced.”
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

      I don’t know about “ages ago” since I suggested it only about 3 months ago. Given the uncontrollable seepage, extensive corrosive erosion and eventual destruction of the shallow environment (the genie cannot be put back into the bottle), the alternative of depleting the reservoir as fast as possible seems like an attractive option to me. Would you rather have the oil in the sea and spread it around the world. And in the process release methane that had taken millions of years to accumulate in a few years? Even for non-scientists it is a no-brainer that the world’s climate will go haywire with such an exponential increase in methane in the atmosphere. We cannot extract the oil in an economical manner as in normal production, it has to be done quickly and safely without compromise.

      Oil in reservoir exists in the interstitial pore spaces between sand grains. Removing the high pressured oil through properly sealed wells to subsea pumping stations or storage units, does not collapse the reservoir formation. On the other hand, allowing oil, gas and brine fluid gushing uncontrollably through the open well bore does enlarge the vertical conduit to allow greater volume of fluid to escape. Erosion and underground explosion (cavitation) do cause damage and undermine stability of the shelf edges and domes.

      So what is the choice?

      • Tom says:

        The point is this – all the finger pointing and all the name calling and all the waving of fists in the air and all the talk about whose fault it is, seems to me to be nothing more then “feel good” stuff. It accomplishes nothing what so ever. You might as well be asking for Tom Thumb to rise from the dead and put his thumb in the hole to stop the leak. You are correct in saying that the only hope we have of averting further damage from this fouled up, very possibly intentional situation is to rally the forces to bleed the damn reservoir and at least there might be a chance that the ecological damage can reverse itself over the next millennium. All the talking about blame won’t bring back the past, and it isn’t going to change the future. This isn’t just a financial disaster, this is something else. There must be someone, somewhere that can do something about the attempt to fix the problem by bleeding the oil. Can you give them 4 good places to drill wells successfully? Hell, the Russians might be more then willing to show us how to do it, just to rub our noses in our own incompetence.

        As for projecting the GOM disaster as being likely many other places, exactly how many places are they drilling wells right now that have been determined to have been the site of an asteroid strike? I rather suspect that in truth, the Gulf is a very unique environment based on that.

        I’ll not try again here, though, since it is obvious that the detective work and finger pointing is far more interesting then trying to find a way to bring sanity back to the Gulf and a glimmer of hope to those millions that have lost their roots, their present, and their future.

        By the way, BK, I thoroughly have enjoyed the thoughtful presentation of the Gulf disaster, and how it came about. It is a beautifully laid out case, and I don’t see too many holes in the logic. But as I said, I’d rather see a masterful plan to save what was left of the Gulf. Any ideas on how to get the sunken oil off the floor and into container ships? I assume that it can still be processed in the same manner as, say Venezuelan heavy oil, or has the use of the dispersants made it useless for any of it’s many uses?

      • BK Lim says:

        Tom, thank you for bringing up these important issues.

        What is the point of exposing these man-made faults (more accurately willful negligence) on the part of BP on this disaster but on a larger extension, every level of the oil industry worldwide? Even if “Tom Thumb could put his thumb on the hole to stop the leak” another man-made disaster could be out there in the making. There is no shortage of BP in the greedy global multinational corps. That’s how they get so big in the first place.

        So a solution without prevention is just part of a revolution of fix and break. This Gulf Mega Oil spill is not the only one. There had been countless other near-misses that have never been brought to light outside company levels. Future oil disasters could be even worse than the BP’s Gulf because high oil prices and technological advances had made it possible to explore bigger potential reservoirs in more dangerous places. High stakes mean high speed high speed exploration. Corners are cut not so much for the material saving but the time saved. When Big PAPA cut corners, many opportunities open up down the line for the little Napoleons to make easy bucks. The system’s check and balance looks good on paper but really it is as good as the paper the rules are written on if they are not carried out in spirit on the ground. Good ethics give way to improprieties. Good professionals with conscience and integrity get replaced by “scheming white collar crooks”.

        Many including me had written in to BP and the Gulf Response Relief efforts without ever getting even an acknowledgement. There are sound ways to solve the problem but BP turned them down because the white collar crooks willfully responsible for the disaster would end up in jail. Sure outwardly BP tried to give the impression that they were trying to save the situation but if you read carefully the actions, they were merely trying to save the few Assh0les.

        The whole disaster – from the day BP started on the application of permit to the present – is an open book of what you should not do to cause a disaster and how to cover it up if a disaster did happen. There are other “BP Wanabes” watching the outcome of this disaster. If BP and Tony Hayward can pull this off, the world has just given the green light for the next one. There will be millions who share your view to let it be; let the rich and crooked have their ways and hope for the “crumbs” that fall your way. We prefer to tell the truth and let the main populace decide their fate instead of being led by “blinded sheep in a herd”.

        Solution without prevention is unacceptable. It is reminiscent of the battle cry of the early colony days – No taxation without representation.

    Anyone doubting collusion of the oil industry, media and government to limit the perception of the magnitude of the Macondo disaster may want to try another explanation for the following:

    Using nothing more than the internet from home on an old computer and basic engineering knowledge, I found a document on BP’s website that showed they already had a portable, clamp-on, sonar flow meter capable of precisely measuring every gallon of oil, hydrocarbons and gas two years ago — even on what remained of the Macondo.
    I have tried in vain since early June to get the attention of anyone in the major media.

    BP partnered with a company by the name of CiDRA, which changed its name to Expro. This pre-blowout Expro Meters product video will blow your mind: http://tinyurl.com/2ekvmah

    You might think a demonstration for the whole world to watch would be worth more publicity than another silly petroleum convention. It was marketed in Canada during the peak of the spill, with no mention at all by the major media.

    “Key technologies on show for Expro at Canada shows”

    Published Jun 10, 2010, in scandoil.com: http://tinyurl.com/22jweno

    They were already building a $2M training facility in CT.
    “Expro has created a Centre of Excellence in Aberdeen, providing specialist training to employees on its innovative sonar metering systems.”

    From Rigzone, July 29, 2010: http://tinyurl.com/284gnm8

    RFK Jr. mentioned that the NRDC will be using this in their lawsuits when he was a guest on Keith Olberman’s Countdown show on MSNBC, July 1st. I guess I will have to be satisfied with that. Wikileaks is not accepting new submissions for awhile.

    There was also a consistent pattern to BP’s failed efforts to contain the Gulf oil leak that the media completely ignored. It was cheaper for BP to hide the true magnitude of the disaster than to recover and refine the oil.

    • The excuse BP used for why the leaking around the riser could not be stopped, was that it was bent and there was no flange to bolt a secure connection to. Yet the final solution, was to bolt a containment cap to the flange on top of the BOP which had been visible on the video the entire time. No questions were ever asked.

    • The “Top Hat” was a total waste of time and failed because it immediately clogged up with frozen methane hydrates. Methane hydrate forms well above 3,000 feet and litters the sea floor around the world below that depth. How did the “experts” not know the same thing would happen at 5,000 feet? No questions were ever asked.

    Formation of methane hydrates: http://tinyurl.com/38sw2ze

    and: http://tinyurl.com/39tgq9d

    • The diameter of the riser and the drill shaft inside were given from the beginning. Using the pipe size, the distance the spill traveled in one second could be fairly closely approximated once the video was ordered released. Tenth grade math is all that is necessary to show that the spill volume was at least 50,000 – 70,000 barrels per day. No one ever explained how simple that estimate was arrived at. In the end, it turned out to be the most accurate. Tenth grade math is apparently over the heads of all the talking heads of the corporate media.

    • Rock is still heavier than water. Logic 101 demands admitting that the water depth alone of blowouts is irrelevant. If they had been drilling in 500 feet of water and hit oil at the same depth, the pressure at the well head would have been considerably greater.

    • All the methods that failed to stop the Macondo well, also failed at Ixtoc I in 1979, at only 160 feet. Red Adair and his divers also failed to operate the BOP manually. For the ROV operators on the surface, it is the same video game they are playing at 100 feet, or 10,000 feet. This was confirmed to me over the telephone by an Expro sonar flow meter engineer, who claimed to have no knowledge of the product video on the Expro corporate website, or that they were marketing the portable sonar meter in Canada at the time — delivered anywhere in the world, at up to 10,000 feet, installed without interruption in about an hour.

      Literally hundreds of sweet girls like Kiesha years ago, and little boys as well, were carefully programmed by CIA International Mind Control Forces, using various techniques – with or without their parents’ knowledge – so that they would grow up to present these New Age beliefs to the public, when they became mature adults. These covert activities were especially prevalent in Native, indigenous communities worldwide. There was not only cruelty, genocide, and sexual abuse “on the reservation”. The true secret horror was the implantation of false memories and false minds. The times of crisis in which we live were planned ahead of time, by those who want to take full control of us and our world, through the callous manipulation of events, and people. Now these puppet-spokespeople are emerging to prevent the masses of the population from joining together in open revolt. “Love” sounds so wonderful. What normal person wouldn’t rather believe that the answer is “Love,” rather than “Fight”. Everything I have written here is all too conceivable, if you do the research, and if you accept the truth about the monsters among us with whom we are dealing.

        I have heard a lot about what you are talking about…the mind control. I don’t get that this young lady is one of those who have been controlled this way. I get that she is speaking from her heart and that what she is saying is the truth. I think she is calling for us to do the only thing that will change things and that is to change how we are living. We need to connect to and to act from our hearts. We need to pray and we need to stand for our beliefs and to walk our talk. This does not mean to be wimps. We need to be fearless but we can’t come from anger or we will just be spreading more anger and fear. Love is what heals. Anger and fear destroy. We need to contact our inherent wisdom which is within each of us and to allow that to be our guide as did the signers of the Declaration of Independence. We have been lied to and manipulated by anger and fear and greed and the egoic mind. Listen to what she says and the way she says it. That is the voice of love.

      The Poles Shift Their Respective Positions by P. R. Sarkar:
      The subject of today’s discourse is, “The Poles Shift their Respective Positions.” Cardinal human principles are almost unchangeable. I say almost unchangeable because they always maintain a tactual relationship with the cosmological order and so the cardinal human principles or cardinal points of human existence do not undergo any change or physical metamorphosis. But this is not the case with the physical body. In the realm of physicality, in the arena of physical emanations, such a change may take place, and in the past took place several times in the history of this planet Earth, and also in the history of so many other planets, stars, satellites, nebula, etc. In the physical sphere change is the order of existence. In the psychic sphere, there is change in the collective structure, but because that change maintains a link with the cosmological order, with cosmic conation, it is not so prominent as that of the physical sphere.

      Take the case of our poles: the poles may shift their positions. In the past, such a shifting took place several times – in the annals of this planet and also in the history of so many other planets. As a result of this shifting, as a result of this changing, the people say that satellites moved in and out of this earth when its outer crust, its lithospherical body, was not so solid as it is now. And some are of the opinion that as a result of this emergence of the Earth’s lithospherical body, the Pacific Ocean was created. According to old astronomy and also astrology, Mars also came out of this Earth, but it did not move around the Earth as its satellite. And that is why a name for Mars is Kuja: Shani raja Kuja mantrii (Saturn is the king, Mars is the minister). Ku means earth and Kuja means born out of ku. So in the physical sphere such a change took place in the past and will take place in the future.

      The poles shift their positions. Now as a result of this shifting in the past, so many times, the time taken by the Earth in moving around itself varies, and also the time taken by the Earth in the moving around the sun – that is, its year – also changed. Day and night together were not of 24 hours, and the year was not of 365/366 days. So as a result of this change in polar positions, seasonal order also changed and its relationship with Mars varied so many times. And the order of our calendar, the system of our calendar had to be changed in the past. If the poles change their positions, the time taken by the Earth to move around itself will certainly be either lessened or increased. And similarly the time taken by the Earth in moving around the sun will either increase or decrease. That is why sometimes we see the seasonal orders are not maintaining proper adjustment with the months: this shows that the shifting is taking place fast. Now as result of this change, not only the adjustment between the months and the seasons will be lost, but the environmental order as well as the ecological order of the Earth will be disrupted. And as a result of this disruption, there must be physical and biological changes in the structures of all living bodies, all living creatures, including plants.

      The plants of Tertiary Age could not be found in the Cretaceous Age. The plants and animals of the Cretaceous Age could not be found in later ages, such as the Pliocene, Miocene, Oligocene, Mesozoic and Caenozoic Ages, because their existence, their births and deaths also depend on ecological balance. And as a result of the change in position of the poles, some people say that in the eastern hemisphere, the north pole is moving from north to south and in the western hemisphere, the south pole moves from south to north, and it cannot be assured that their relative distance will remain unchanged. So we should be prepared for the future; we should be prepared for the resultant of these changes in polar positions, in environmental order and also in ecological structure.

      As a result of this change the magnetic structure of this Earth will change, as a result of which other planets and satellites of the solar system will also undergo certain remarkable metamorphosis. And if the magnetic order is disrupted, then certain remarkable changes, certain remarkable metamorphoses in the electromagnetic vibrations of this Earth and also of the entire solar system, will occur. As a result of this type of change in the electromagnetic vibrations, human thought waves will certainly be affected.

      Our progress in the arena of science depends much on the progress of our knowledge in electromagnetic waves, electromagnetic emanations. So our progress in the fields of both humanities and science will suffer much, will be much assailed as the result of this change. We should be prepared for such change, and that change may take place in the very near future.

      You know, human existence is not only an existence of physicality, an existence in physical structure, it is a [mesh] of vibrations of so many wavelengths. So if the physical waves change, if the climatic conditions undergo a certain gigantic metamorphosis, certainly the emanations and perceptions of nerve cells and nerve fibres will be changed, and disrupted. It may be for the good, it may be for the bad, but change is a must. In the case of such a change in the physical order and also in the physico-psychic order, the change is sure to take place in the realm of spirituality. We hope that the movement – that is, the movement of humanity, and of each and every living being – is from matter to consciousness, from extroversion to introversion. So the thought waves of human beings will be more of a spiritual nature than they are at present. That is, humanity in that developed condition will be more spiritual-minded than it is at present.

      The Cosmic Entity, the Supreme Cognitive Faculty, never stops His emanations in the physical, metaphysical, supraphysical and spiritual strata. In the case of microcosm, if the change is neurological as a result of physical change, then certainly the cells and then nerve fibres will function some other way than at present. Then the thought waves of the Great, the thought waves of the Supreme Cognitive Faculty, are sure to undergo some transmutation when they pass through unit human structures. And it is expected that under such circumstances the progress of human beings in the realm of introversion will be more accelerated than it is at present. If the poles in a particular small planet, like the Earth, shift their respective positions, it may be beneficial to human beings or it may not be beneficial to human beings, but it is certain that the thought waves of the Supreme will do their own duty under the changed circumstances. Humanity will be more meditative and will accept Parama Puruśa, the Cosmic Cognitive Faculty, as its object of ideation in a better and more scientific way.

      One must not think that anything is fixed or stationary in this universe. Everybody moves – certainly the poles move – and they have already started their function of shifting their respective positions. And you see as a result of such a change, especially if the change takes place very fast, then another ice-age may occur here on this Earth. Between the pre-condition and post-condition of the ice-age there may be a long gap – that is, the pre-age and the post-age will have a long gap between them. But we have much expectation and hope from human intellect; and we hope, if a catastrophe comes, the human intellect will be able to overcome such a catastrophe and arrange for shifting the population to some other planet having suitable environmental conditions and a better ecological order. Let humanity rise, and let this development of humanity be more and more spiritually-oriented!

      P. R. Sarkar

      • Craig,
        We’ve been watching this situation as well, both the possibility of a magnetic pole shift, as well as a much more consequential axis pole shift.

        The archaeological records prove they occur on a fairly regular basis (over eons of course); now the question is: Is the planet poised for an imminent shift and, if so, when and what kind?

        Your final statement above points to the current reality that many are experiencing an ongoing and unparalleled shift in Consciousness. We believe this has always occurred just prior to these great magnitude physical earth changes in the past.
        Cosmic Convergence 2012 will certainly bring profound and fundamental transformation of the earth plane; it’s just a matter of how it will manifest!
        Thanks-

  8. With this atrocity’s irreversible ongoing effects, one can see a parallel of tragedy within the ignorance of our society. While we remember times of youth that a sibling may have pulled the wool over our eyes, this giant trick within our society has so fooled humanity that once uncovered, the horrific truth leaves only a gasp in the stomach so far reaching that no amount of psychotropic drugs could subside. The only place to look is within. Finding that space that we can allow ourselves to go, almost by force today, looking to happier days gone by, is all that’s left. Gathering our scattered brains to remember the true nature of our purpose while kiddiegarten forwards of the 50’s and religious memories get passed around, we’ve hardly begun to wake up the masses to the realization of what we’ve allowed to occur. Our whales can hardly weep…90% gone…what kind of hell have we created? Thank you all for paying attention. My little group grows…and as we share info and sites, we are preparing for ways to participate more and more as we move toward the Mayan predictions of a pole shift, while scientists now speak out and the internet brings us the truth, whether rich in lies or reality…that which we watch is still a choice. Thank you for the harsh reality. Time for the shift in our hearts to attend to Mother Earth.

    Good evening!

    As I wrote in my May 23rd initial article for http://www.rense.com, this blow-out cannot be contained. While humans can “cap it” or attempt in other ways to slow the flow, the fact is that these immense pressures will find a way of relief, most likely by fluids migrating to the next weakest link [Liebig’s Law of the Minimum].

    So here we are:

    The Gulf of Mexico is Dying

    As I wrote then and in my second article shortly afterward, we must expect that not only will the GoM be killed off, but that this will eventually enter the Atlantic Loop, strike the UK next, then Spain and Europe. If the contamination were a limited quantity, natural processes could eventually mitigate it, albeit over considerable time, and certainly not in our lifetimes. However, the relentless addition of these poisons to already overburdened ecosystems is the fatal event.

    The criminally immense use of Corexit dispersant was another fatal error, one which has begun to poison all life-forms exposed to it, on land and sea.

    All best, J

    The frustrating thing for me, as an innovator, is that it is impossible to get heard above the din.
    I’ve stated before, here on this site even and all over the web, where I felt it would find resonance, that I have the answers to this Oil driven madness.

    A lot of the design work I’ve done is based on a core re-understanding of the human body and it’s functional parts. I’ve developed methods to bring the power back to us (who are now weak from the effects of the age of the machine).

    My designs, which I call Oilternative Engineering (tongue firmly in cheek), solve the problems of the industrial age in a graceful way as yet unseen in the world. Combining the insights of the likes of Tesla, Viktor Schauberger and Fuller, the designs (which have both fast retrofit and fast refit so they can dove-tail into current machines), tackle the problems caused by this broken design paradigm, of which the GOM (which I wrote extensively about also) is but a run-away symptom in every field of human endeavour.

    But in this time, near impossible to get heard. Some of my meeting stories are hair-raising examples of what is wrong with the system, here and abroad.

    I’ve made repeated calls for some or many people from all around the world to join me in whatever way possible. It’d take a year and maybe 5 million $ in todays money.

    Imagine that, peanuts both in terms of time and money.

    Leaves me feeling that folks would just rather complain and meet their justs end with iPad in hand, never having done anything except complain.

    I’ve written to governments, like Ireland, saying participation in this movement could have them be debt free and a world leader in short order.

    Very frustrating place to be in. Every day is a lost opportunity to recover. I have the ideas, the designs but it will take many, world over to really make it happen.

    Who is willing to step up? Anyone here? I even wrote to Rense, nice headliner, Indian claims to solve world energy problem. Not even a check back to establish possible credentials. Likewise multiple journalists all over the world.

      Yes, there are many Real people here.

      Hey we’ve just been bio-attacked on the Gulf Coast of Fl. with COREXIT, how long we may be here after this, who knows? It is likely longer than the people that BP hired to clean up the mess in LA.? They were in direct contact with it. Who (Of us) really knows how much was sprayed, where, or how it going to affect our every day Everything! From water, to air, to food, to earth, to health and to economy? …………. so much more…. We aren’t in a war zone , but have been attacked….. More importantly, I think we are being attacked on a daily basis by our government in many ways. That said, while this is just one case, GOM oil spill, the other isn’t the topic of discussion here, so I’ll not go on further. I don’t believe there are too many robots here.

    @Helena: Yes, I agree it’s impossible to tell what’s real. For instance, maybe you are a CIA agent…. Not saying at all that you are, just pointing out: why should I take your word instead of the Little Grandmother’s? I don’t know either of you..

  18. stixwiz says:

    We may be in serious need of off-planet assistance, though we certainly should not merely warm our chairs waiting for such an eventuality. At this point i cannot ascertain whether the seepage of hydrocarbons or the overlay of corexit is the greater danger. In any case i wouldn’t be eating seafood from the Gulf or even nearby waters and neither would i care to be living closer than my current 1,200 miles or so from the GOM. But if the oceans go, there is really little difference in a matter of just a few years. This whole thing is the result of materialistic philosophies based on ego and greed. Spiritual values got sucked up by organized religion and spat out by rationalism.

There is no fighting nor changing the government, the ONLY answer is a change of consciousness for those who will remain to rebuild after the earth goes through Her cleansing cycle AGAIN.

      I’ve had some of the same experiences as Kiesha, and to the best of my knowledge there hasn’t been any CIA agents in the background programming anything. I sat on a rock in the woods. I assure you there was no CIA involved in my early life

  24. GulfStream says:

    Oil and Corexit in Gulf of Mexico Will Cause Frigid Weather in Scandinavia and UK because of effects on the Gulf Stream which keeps those high-latitude countries warm.

    In the North Atlantic, the normal oceanic currents travel westward into the Gulf of Mexico, loop clockwise, and then travel around Florida and up the east coast of north america, and then across to Scandinavia and the UK. The waters in the Gulf act as a great heat sink, absorbing the sun’s heat in the lower latitudes, and transporting that heat to the higher latitudes of Scandinavia and the UK.
    In the Gulf Stream, the warm water travels in a layer on the surface of the deeper cold water, and does not mix with it. The massive use of the surfactant Corexit in the Gulf of Mexico serves not only to mix the leaked oil in the Gulf with sea water, but additionally reduces the surface tension of the water itself, allowing the warm surface water in the Gulf Stream to mix with the deeper cold water, and this should destroy the warm Gulf Stream which has been keeping Scandinavia and the UK warm. Current satellite images of the Gulf Stream show that it is starting to disperse and break up in the north Atlantic, and the frigid temperatures now being experienced in the UK and Scandinavia are apparently a harbinger of very much worse weather conditions to come to these countries because of the Gulf of Mexico catastrophe.

  25. Rod says:

      WikiLeaks is just a false distraction’ to occupy the mind of the people whilst the real atrocities in the gulf are implemented.
      No only billions of gallons of oil, but BP also released “Synthia” into the ocean.
      Synthia – Synthetic bacteria life form.
      They pumped “Synthia” into the crude oil under the sea bed to aid in faster oil recovery. The bacteria went crazy and broke up the sea bed by eating the hydro-carbons and producing mass amounts of CO2.
      Normally this excess pressure and the emulsion effect of the bacteria would help push the oil out’ but this time they took bacterial microbes from the crude oil under the sea bed and manipulated it – added a virus to invade the bacteria cell then programmed it with a computer program.
      ROV live feeds show “Chaos” before BP turned them off – the mutated synthia is giving life to inamate objects/substances.
      The synthetic bacteria went mental and hence all the oil/gas leaking from the cracked sea bed.
      They then in their infinite wisdom dropped “Synthia 2” into the ocean to clear up the oil spilled.
      It would now seem “Synthia” has mutated into something that can morph and eat steel.
      Appreciate this site – the world media blackout on this is as per usual paid for.
      BBC 2 attempted to interview a member of BP who admitted to releasing a synthetic life form into nature, then they got shut down by whom? Who has the power to silence the media?
      From what we have seen this self-replicating synthetic life form has mutated.
      Designed by a computer, programmed by a computer.
      All the chemicals BP have pumped into the ocean can cause mutations within cells – both virus and bacteria then mutate.
      The UK is freezing because the oil spilled has mixed into the gulf loop flow and altered the way in which the cold and warm waterts flow. Oil and warm and cold water simple science experiment. It would now seem the gulf flow is stagnant, hence the severe weather experienced in Europe and the UK.
      Within all of this destruction are two more pices of mental madness.
      The oil released from the sea bed is radioactive. A dirty little secret that the oil companies never tell.
      BP to possibly use nuclear devices in an attempt to control mutating synthia?
      Greed and power!
      Man fulfills of prophecy.

We’re in Peak Oil now. There’s no easy oil to get to anymore. More and more insane plans for crap like the rig that failed in the GOM are being hatched and lobbyists are paid millions to ram them through Congress. Regardless of what is causing global warming, we must begin to love this planet which gives us life and stop trashing it or she will shake us all off like the flea infestation that we are. That time is NOW.

      Ellen, with all due respect, all things eventually go extinct on planet earth. A comet will undoubtedly strike earth in the future, even if 1,000,0000 years from now and destroy the planet as we know it. You can’t control things as a human being. When you think you can save the earth, you take the throne of God. This is why I believe it’s important to understand the spiritual dimension of this and that it could be humanity’s call now to leave the planet as such. Clinging to a rock within seems more relevant then clinging to one on earth, don’t you think? I love nature, trees, etc. I once hugged a tree, but they all have spiritual dimensions and energy associated with them. They’ll go on living even after the earth’s gone one day. There is no death in reality, just transitions of energy forms.

      • TruthBSpoken says:

        Cheryl, go hug another tree. Yes, there is death in reality, haven’t ya ever noticed when someone dies they are cold? and they can’t sit up and talk to ya anymore the way they did. People, plants, bugs die…. when they die, they are not here in the same way they were before, if in fact they do decide to come back and be around in other ways… transition you may have an idea about? But reality, your concept may be a bit skewed.

    Wow, what a great comment section!

    There is even one chap apparently saying “it ain’t no big deal” and apologizes for BPs criminality. To be sure, Obama the Zio Puppet and the powers that be behind the scenes (All Roads Lead To Rothschilds) are psychopathic criminals and making excuses for them is inexcusable.

    Regarding APATHY, I can speak to that issue as a college teacher in Japan: I wrote a short missive to my colleagues at the science dept. about the need to teach critical thinking and ethics to students in regards to their consumption of science news articles. There is a profound lack of discernment in regards to the students understanding of science, technology, environment and ethical issues (and the university department itself promotes this lack of criticalness, while promoting main stream zionist owned news sources). In other words, if we can build it, do it, etc., no matter the consequences (who cares about unintended consequences! the risk is worth taking!), then by all means “just do it”. Unfortunately I got ZERO response from my many colleagues who either didn’t understand my point (that we are getting rid of reality in favor of virtual reality) or agreed with me but felt hopeless. I guess I need to keep hammering the point over and over again until people will think more seriously about it (but given what AIRHEADS most teachers are these days, I don’t have much hope either).

    This is just a tiny anecdote that speaks to Tom’s issue of saving the planet, and what a tough road we have to hoe.

  46. Thomas Blaney says:

    Concrete Man, your tale of APATHY disturbs me greatly. I thought it might help to elaborate a bit on my previous comments and how I became involved with the elusive BP oil flow meter. I had never heard of this site or the Concerned Citizens of Florida until a few days ago. It was linked on another site I frequent. Maybe someone can help me to better understand what is happening, because I am still having a hard time coming to grips with what I found, especially thinking that apparently no one else did, or cared.

    My bio is pretty insignificant. I have a modest college background and work experience in science, engineering, art, photography, and journalism. I’m sure I have less than the average qualifications of a dedicated career professional in any one of those fields. For the four years before 1982, I worked for the largest manufacturer of linear parabolic solar collectors in the American southwest, in Arizona. I did R&D, product design and testing, and assembly supervising. That was my passion, but it all ended shortly after Reagan withdrew all support for alternative energy, in favor of more subsidies for fossil fuels and nuclear. I was forced to move on to other things.

    Like millions of others, my only experience of the Gulf Oil Spill this summer was through TV, radio, and the internet. In early May, I was optimistic when Woods Hole made a proposal to BP to accurately measure the flow rate of the oil with their sonar flow meter, used for measuring volcanic vents on the sea floor. When BP refused, I suspected they would not be acting in good faith in the spill response. Then NPR reported that an engineer simply measured the video to calculate a flow of 70,000 barrels a day, when the “official” estimate was only 5 -10,000. I measured the flow on my own video screen and got about the same answer. That is when all my alarms went off. Something was seriously wrong.

    I knew the biggest oil company in the world had to be heavily involved in measuring it accurately. Out of simple curiosity, I Googled; BP oil flow meter. The first return was an article on BP’s website. You can still read it, or download it here: http://tinyurl.com/cdjag4
    Next, I found that CiDRA, the company BP had partnered with over four years ago, had become Expro Meters. I found the product video for the patented clamp-on, calibration free, sonar flow meters and non-intrusive well head monitoring systems, good to 10,000 feet — delivered anywhere in the world and installed in an hour. It was right on their corporate website. A more specific search linked to a Scandanavian oil publication article, about that very system being marketed in Canada in June!

    Sounds like the ideal tool to end the arguments and measure exactly how much oil was actually leaking into the Gulf, right? So, I called Expro’s corporate headquarters in Houston and asked to speak to a sonar flow meter engineer. They gave me the number for their sonar flow meter office in Connecticut, identified in their product video. The sonar meter engineer I spoke to denied any knowledge of the product video on their website, or that it was currently being marketed in Canada. All he would say was that maybe they had done something with BP for the North Sea a few years ago, then assured me that they were very nice people. He said he did not pay attention to the news and knew nothing about the spill in the Gulf except that it had happened. He did agree that a flow meter would guarantee that BP paid the maximum fine, and that depth was irrelevant to operating the ROV’s from the surface. I had identified myself as an engineering student to get as much information as possible without arousing suspicion.

    I would encourage anyone to do their own search and see if they can find anything at all about BP’s patented, deep sea sonar oil flow meter that preceded what I did in early June, or was not based on my posts linked to in my previous two comments here. How is it possible that I am the only one that thinks this is such an important story? Really, I am not that special. I just stumbled onto it and still cannot believe the media totally ignored it. Think of all the ferocious competition to be the first journalist to break important news. My investigative reporting was pre-internet, but I know it is as tough as ever to get a real scoop. For weeks, I sent the information to all the media organizations I could think of, wondering if I was losing my mind.

    How is it that apparently not even science classes used researching how to measure the oil leak as a special project? It was only an international debate that raged all summer long. It is indisputable that BP had the ideal tool all along to precisely measure how much oil was escaping into the Gulf. They, and everyone who knew about it, somehow managed to conceal it from the media. They did not even acknowledge it existed and then find an excuse why for they could not use it.

    I really dislike such massive conspiracy theories. BP stock dividends are 14% of the British pension fund. Is it really that sinister? Is Operation Mockingbird still active?
    http://www.spartacus.schoolnet.co.uk/JFKmockingbird.htm

    Really, why me?

    • Concrete man says:

      Thomas,

      I am assuming you are different from the “Tom” commenter above.

      Anyway, thank you for your very interesting comments and I wish you luck on exposing this technical aspect in the conspiracy. I’m a bit confused because you say you hate conspiracy theories and then link to documentation of the topic! I guess you were being ironic.

      Yeah, I am merely a very lowly level English teacher but also have a background in environmental concerns from a social science view. What I can add to the debate is that IF average people are going to wake up, the education system must be involved. Surely they should be involved, but the majority are not for various reasons.

      At my high level science university (for Japan, comparatively not very high world wide) one student told me that his engineering professor was angry that BP had used the wrong pipes or something to that effect. I have tried to follow the technical aspects but of course we lay people rely on the technical people to explain things clearly, and you have contributed to this by questioning some of these areas. Please keep exploring this problem!

      Yeah, APATHY? Well, who cares!

    • @ Howard T. Lewis III.
      “…need to contact government personnel to force the release of info from BP and Halliburton…”
      You’re joking, right? Do you honestly believe, for even one second, that the people can force our representatives to do anything?
      You’re delusional. There is no government in amerika. That which passes as such is nothing more than a wholly owned subsidiary of the corporatocracy, which is in turn the property of the banking cartel.
      The die is cast. Amerika is about to join the ranks of the third world and the first truly global plutocracy become the new reality.
      All branches of government have been steadily overtaken by the private sector. This process has accelerated exponentially since the Regan administration. It was greatly advanced by Clinton and reached its peak with Bush II. Private interests now have virtually complete control.
      Legislation is written, not by policymakers within the government in response to the needs and wishes of their constituents, but by members of the corporatocracy in response to the demands of the ruling plutocracy. It is simply the job of politicians, as mere employees of those special interests, to see that this anti-American, anti-Democracy, anti-Life legislation is passed into law with no real debate and without the knowledge or consent of the American people. Another responsibility of our pseudo-government is to put on a great show of partisanship and contention aimed at maintaining the illusion of a choice between two opposing parties. This dog and pony show also includes the obfuscation and outright lying done by both politicians and corporate media. The capitalist propaganda machine is purposed to keeping the people misinformed, ignorant and in constant conflict with each other. Thus they are distracted with infighting and bickering over trivial wedge issues whilst the anti-American aristocracy pushes them ever deeper into poverty and oppression.
      America is being added to the ranks of the third world, making it more easily controlled and exploited than a nation of free, critically thoughtful and united people. Ironically, it is often this herding of disparate groups into a single oppressed majority that leads to the rejection of their differences and the creation of common cause. Whether this will be significant in the present instance remains to be seen.
      History is there for the learning, though its study and understanding are strongly discouraged by our educational system. Historical revisionism is a primary weapon of the totalitarian state. The facts, once uncovered, speak for themselves. Put as simply as possible, back to the time of Plato and beyond, there has always been a small portion of our species seeking total dominance over all the rest. They are utterly and intractably opposed to any open society. Their goal has always been and still is, absolute totalitarian rule of the known world. That world has become much smaller and better known since the empires of Greece, Rome, England and all the others that have come and gone. There is but one difference today; for the first time in history, the realization of this dystopian, totalitarian objective, on a truly global scale, is not only possible but highly probable.

    The only way to end this spill is to release the hidden Tesla technology and replace oil for good. But it won’t happen because the armies of the world are poised to kill anyone or anything that opposes the oil cartel.

    This is the unfortunate result of the Illuminati building up their wealth through banking and oil and using that wealth to control and infiltrate ALL governments, and then to channel the money to build up military armies that will wage war and bring them closer to their one world government agenda. Count the wars being fought in the name of oil to date, for example. We just had one in 2003.

    Yes, nothing can be done, unless you fancy you yourself and your family getting killed and starved to death. That is why it is quite futile really, the end will play itself out eventually.

    Sorry to be so negative. Just being a realist.

    That is why too much is at stake here. World wars can even be waged to stop this.

    So either some divine force intervenes or mankind goes kaput. It is clear the present SYSTEM we all live under is UNSUSTAINABLE, the only question is how long will it last. Will it fold in my lifetime? Or in the next?

  81. kelly Mitchell says:

    Okay, this is the thing that drives me crazy about abiotic oil theory – even if oil is abiotic (and the Saturn moon situation suggests it is), that does not mean it exists in huge quantities in the earth’s crust. This statement that it destroys the Peak Oil theory is just that – it has no proof. Abiotic oil does not mean it exists in enormous quantities.
    Why can’t people figure that out?
    Maybe it does, but no abiotic theorist have ever shown it to be so. And if there is so much damn oil, then why do they have to find it miles below the ocean? What would be the point?

    • Kelly,
      Your point is well taken. We agree that oil may or may not still exist in large quantities in the crust. We don’t know, and cannot really trust Big Oil to tell us the truth since Peak Oil has become such a great marketing slogan and tool for price manipulation.

      We do know that enormous amounts of abiotic/abiogenic oil exist in the mantle and deep crustal regions, but that this is where it needs to stay. This deep oil does serve to replenish many of the previously drilled sites around the world, the exact numbers of which we do not know.

      So, to clarify we know there are HUGE batholiths of oil scattered around the world, two of the largest being in the GOM, and that these reservoirs do feed more superficial deposits of hydrocarbons.

      Secondly, that Peak Oil from a supply/price standpoint may or may not be true; but that the notion of severe limits on fossil fuel in the form of oil and gas is a complete fabrication which allows them to control the world’s energy needs with the Hydrocarbon Fuel Paradigm.

      Again we say that even though it’s there, we still ought not to exploit “deep oil” as it serves much greater purposes deep down under for planetary health and balance. It’s also dangerous as hell to extract under any circumstances – dangerous to Mother Earth and her myriad life forms.

      • kelly Mitchell says:

        thanks for the reply. It still leaves my concern.
        ‘we know there are huge batholiths in the GOM, etc.’

        This is called a bald assertion – very common in the peak oil objectionist approach. Who has this evidence? Does it exist beyond somebody saying something about some anonymous oil company executive on a youtube video? Cause that’s all I’ve seen and I have looked. I still believe Peak Oil is valid until I get better evidence. Yes, I know one offshore field replenished, but I’ve found no others that do. One anomaly does not prove the case. And I know the rumors of ultra-deep wells in Russia and Korea, but I see little substantiation for this. I don’t see any proof for all this oil – only bald assertion.

        And if you want to say about how much much oil has seeped into the GOM, well, yes it’s a good deposit, but if Gawar or Cantrell were under there, the situation would be far, far worse. It’s a ten bb field, not a hundred billion.

        I do appreciate the article, btw. I know the GOM is a massive coverup by the govcorp mafia and it’s awful but real to know something of the truth.

      • Martin Larner says:

        I see no evidence whatsoever that Peak Oil is a ‘marketing slogan’ or ‘tool for price manipulation’ of the oil companies. On the contrary, they all deny Peak Oil vociferously, as do (until a recent tacit admittance) the IEA/EIA institutions. Peak Oil has only recently begun to leak into the mainstream and the Oil Industry is already engaged in a concerted PR campaign to deny it with the help of organisations like CERA, because acknowledgement would bring their stock value crashing down.

        To understand that Peak Oil is real we only have to see that even the Saudis – let alone the US – are drilling offshore in ever more difficult circumstances which require more financial investment, more Energy investment, have greater risk and slower and lower production rates and return on investment of both dollars and energy. If there were sizeable amounts of oil to be exploited – whatever it’s origins – they would already be doing so. They are not because they know it isn’t there.

        Meanwhile, Oil companies are downsizing and consolidating and are not investing in the training of personnel to replace those retiring, or infrastructure to replace that which is aged or defunct. The oil companies themselves know that too expensive oil kills the economy. Why would the industry try and kill its host deliberately? Far better to keep the whole thing ticking over indefinitely – but the evidence shows they cannot do this and are finding it ever more difficult both to find viable reserves and extract them. Hence the disregard for safety which caused the Macondo disaster.

        The Abiotic theory, while possibly partly correct is actually irrelevant as far as Peak Oil is concerned. There is more than one way to create oil, which is one of the reasons why there are different types of oil, but that doesn’t mean that any more is there.

    • BK Lim says:

      Quote~~~~~
      And if there is so much damn oil, then why do they have to find it miles below the ocean? What would be the point?
      ~~~~~~~~end of Quote
      That’s where the huge reservoirs are. For deep water exploitation to be economical, the oil prices have to be high. For oil prices to be high, there need to be a perceived shortage. Market perception need not necessary reflect realities on ground because oil reserves can go up & down like the stock market; depending on which expert you talk to. Hope this clarifies.
      • Martin Larner says:
        Wrong. It’s not where the huge reservoirs are. For example compare the reserves and production of a ‘major’ Gulf field, Thunderhorse, with the super giant fields of the Middle East. There’s just no comparison.
        By the way, Thunderhorse has been pretty disappointing and is already declining in production.
        The simple fact, is that only about 1 barrel of oil is found for every 4 used. Discovery of oil peaked in about 1964 and has been declining ever since. Now, global consumption is 30 billion barrels a year (including unconventional oils and other liquids). The claims by Brazil were only some 8.9 billion barrels, not really a lot considering demand.
        The real reason for drilling in such places is that the industry is desperate to make up the shortfall of declining fields and Deep Water is one of the few places left to drill.
        If you look carefully, you will notice that the oil industry is downsizing and consolidating rather than investing for the future. As the late Matt Simmons pointed out, refineries were not being built because the industry knows it will not get a return on investment.
        Contrary to what you imply, the Oil Industry DOES NOT use Peak Oil as a tool to create a perception of scarcity. On the contrary, they will not even acknowledge the phenomenon.
        Peak Oil researchers such as the likes of Colin Campbell are all retired petroleum geologists and volunteers with no axe to grind. They do not represent the industry. On the other hand the likes of Daniel Yergin is funded by OPEC to keep supplying a rosy, optimistic scenario where Peak is always ’30 or 40′ years away.
  82. Thomas Blaney says:
    It is important to remember that oil needs to be over $85-90 US per barrel for solar and other alternative energy sources to be commercially profitable without government subsidies. Fossil fuels still receive substantial government subsidies to remain profitable.
    Also, it is the weight of the rock above the oil, not the depth of the water, that is usually a more important factor in determining the pressure at the well head. Rock is still heavier than water, but all the math-averse media ever reports is the water depth.
  83. Thomas Blaney says:
    Kelly: how much accessible oil remains is ultimately unknowable in any objective sense. Without indisputable, corroborated objective evidence, I tend to regard all conspiracy theories as religion – the simplest, magical explanation for things we have no other way to understand. What you choose to believe is an article of faith.
    I am not asking anyone to make a leap of faith about the technology available to accurately measure and contain the Macondo spill within the first few weeks. Every link I posted, is to public documents by BP and Expro Meters, still available to everyone, and to the basic science of how methane hydrates form in the sea. It contradicts everything presented in the media.
    The undamaged flange on top of the BOP was visible to everyone from the beginning. A solid connection with a new flange and riser could have been made as the first solution. It was simply easier and cheaper to try to disperse and hide the oil than to recover it. This should be clear to anyone with a basic understanding of how stuff works.
  84. Jeremy says:
  85. Howard T. Lewis III says:
    If, as Congress found, the DH blow up was intentional, it was a pathologically creative act. A catastrophically ruinous creation, and if the testimonies so far are to be believed, the tool of Gulf of Mexico economic and biological ruination was made on the spot. Except for some oil drilling concerns and royalty, who like pigs, cannot conceive of life which does not include themself eating as much as possible in relative comfort and ease. Their owners just kicked out the walls by creating a shitty inappropriately cheap stab wound into the earth. No genius, and nothing beyond simple, redundant murderous greed was carried out here. The internet has irreversibly shown anyone who wants to know how unworthy of trust or respect the NWO=OWO and our federal government really is. Kill your TV set. This mess was planned. It didn’t take much.
    If the RISK of confrontation or PUBLIC EMBARASSMENT in closing off this mess is not on your agenda, say your prayers. We are doomed. Confrontation is not necessary but risking it IS necessary. They NEED to stir up confrontation because their position is devoid of merit. Their arguments fall short of sanity or evidence of cognition. Don’t expect much from a domesticated pig beyond a grunt or immediate vicious violent attack.
    Unless we turn on the very same good people we pretend to speak for and get them thrown in prison for ‘sedition’ against the New World Order=Old World Order, our work must include individuals with the power to control the pigs running loose. We must prevail because these swine are destroying the earth and all life within reach. And THEY BELIEVE IN DOING SO if we all do NOT bow in submission like Pres. Dover, their puppet-in-chief. After they complete the takeover of the rest of the government, they are coming after the remainder. Only a fraction of the military approves of their evil. The other 70% just don’t want WW III to be in America. But I believe that the NWO=OWO misdeeds are wearing thin enough for mutiny and arrests of those in power of government but not in power of mind. They understand that they were chosen to be ‘spoilers’ and not a successful administration. I believe we will find that they want to be arrrested, pawwed and otherwise physically controlled. If the U.S. military won’t do it, the NWO=OWO backed U.N. is rehearsed and waiting in the wings. These arrests will have to be done by the military and U.S. Marshalls. The total disrespect of the rest of the world and the American people has led to too much suffering and destruction. Society is breaking down and the educated citizens among us will be their first targets. A dog is loyal to whatever fills their food bowl. How much prime farmland has been paved over? I used to be a builder. We’ve been ponzied. We’ve been sharked. Now they want to kill us before we again loom large on the horizon.
    And all the while, congress mewls for position and shits on us all. Time to fix mama kitty and put the little ones in the Grand Jury pet show.
    It’s not wise to fool Mother Nature. Those who think they can get away with it will abruptly learn that payback can be more than they bargained for. That’s because nature will always retaliate in subtle retorts that shake the very foundations of this earth as well as life itself. Playing the role of Creator is a very dangerous game.
    As part of their new logo and corporate image campaign, British Petroleum (BP) wants the public to think of them as their new slogan says, “Beyond Petroleum”. BP is far more than a simple oil company. What is revealed below regarding BP and their ‘beyond petroleum’ activities, both prior to and including their Gulf of Mexico catastrophe, will create a picture for the reader one pixel dot at a time. Once the person who reads everything presented here connects all the dots of the picture, it will be more than obvious that BP has tried to fool Mother Nature… and she’s retaliating with a vengeance that is affecting the entire world. This is a perilous game that has now gotten out of control. What began in the Gulf of Mexico, in February 2010, has now escalated into a man-made biological nightmare of unknown proportions.
    Millions of years ago there was a Demon by the name of Hiranyaksha. He become very powerful and, by the technological advancement at that time, he extracted many fluids from the Earth which resulted in the Earth planet falling out of its current position and down into the lower strata of the universe somewhere near Pluto. The Supreme Lord recovered the Earth from its position in a filthy place and placed it back where it rightfully belonged. He also fought and killed the demon Hiranyaksha.
    Many times throughout the histories of the universe these type of events have taken place, not just on this planet but also on other planets as well. We should know that the Supreme Lord is the Supreme controller and whenever these type of events take place there is always sanction and control by the Supreme being. Nothing can happen without His will and sanction.
    The inhabitants of this Earth should have no fear as long as they surrender to Him who is at the Heart and core of every atom.
    This material energy was created by the Supreme Lord and is being maintained by his delegated representatives, the demigods.
    The demons and the atheists may sometimes cause disturbances within the material creation of this universe, but their efforts are always kept in check by the Supreme Lord and His demigods.
    Thank you, Tom Termotto, for helping to expose these greedy oil people, along with their money-lender friends, for what they are – international criminals of the highest order. Oil should be left where it belongs – underground; we have an abundance of free, clean energy on this wonderful planet, knowledge of which has been suppressed by these greedy people from the days of Tesla to the present-day technology of producing hydrogen from water by the use of electrolysis.
    Revolution is not the answer; history shows us that it simply plays into their hands. We must continue to wake up in our millions and become empowered by freeing ourselves from a consciousness of fear and greed, in which we have been imprisoned for millennia, into one of love and peace in which we can live wholesome, healthy and enjoyable lives in harmony with our beautiful planet, and learn to communicate with the rest of the universe. When there are sufficient numbers of us, we will be able to insist that our justice systems round up these people and indict them with crimes of treason and grand theft. There is certainly no lack of evidence of their crimes from those of the perpetrators of 9/11 to those of the privately owned central banks, who are enriching themselves beyond reason by burdening the governments and peoples of this world with an increasingly unsustainable debt, which is both illegal and treasonous. We will all have to stand up and be counted in these coming years.
    This is too much surrendering. I am soooo sorry, but I want a crack at controlling the flow of gases and liquids from this DH scene. You dig? No, of course not. You are a preacher, not an engineer. Please use your divine guidance to clear paths so that a repair can be affected and other unstable drilling sites safely closed down. That is an order from…. Enough lies. Enough foolishness.
    Is BP still directing traffic?
    It is easier to stop a runaway car by putting on the brakes than throwing a pile of Bibles in front of the car. Since this ‘well’ was a disastrous blow-out by design, regardless of the demented reasoning involved, we may safely assume that it will be allowed to continue releasing poisonous gases until the ‘well’s’ sponsors get what they want. Our President is an accomplice and wrong. He takes delight in torturing the innocent and is obviously quite insane. His chief of ‘Homeland Security’ is planning stations at shopping centers across the country to facilitate the distribution of daily humiliation and feelings of rape she herself deals with every time she gets in bed with her girlfriend. This diversion gives time and room to the GOM gas and oil attack on the Gulf Coast. Along with the looting of the American banking system and Wall Street. America is under a concerted, coordinated attack. I have been on this like stink on a skunk since they assassinated JFK.
    First time poster, but have been visiting and reading the excellent articles and comments for a while. I live about 225 north of the GOM in Mississippi. I have good friends who live on the coast and they don’t want to hear anything negative, so I have decided to oblige them.
    I do wonder, though, if this disaster will prove to be a door for the U.S. Military to seize control of the GOM coast, specifically LA and MS? After all, they are the biggest (or one of the biggest) consumers of oil on the planet. The other big oil deposits are in areas we are trying to conquer, but it is not going well, and the military needs a big, steady supply of oil. The military has covered for BP from the outset, and of course buys much of the oil BP produces. If the GOM becomes unlivable, special teams and technology could ramp up oil production for the war machine.
    I don’t know if this has any validity as an alternative theory’, but since the media and govt. have refused to give us any information, the mind does speculate.
    The Bushes are in partnership with the queen of England. The jews stuck in Hitler’s concentration camps were being softened up to colonize Palestine whether they wanted to be there or not, for greater Zion (Zion being the jewish Rothchild bankers, Warburgs, et al) who wanted the geographically hottest central piece of real estate on the planet for their own personal financial gain and then the oil. The eugenics aspect of this stuff goes back to over 50 years of plotting before WW2 in meetings at Bavaria Grove in California. Bush, Brown, and Harriman were there. The yearly BG programs had swastikas on the back covers for a few of these years. These are not nice people. There ‘superior breeding’ only allows them to backstab, lie, cheat and murder people using their own printed money and the combat trained and beguiled. If you get any 20 people anywhere who will consent to most anything for pay, arm them with M-16’s and grenades, you can destroy any picnic or large special event. This is what they do. To date. Especially in Iraq and Afghanistan.
    This is how they have been working for the past 500 years, AT LEAST.
    Sir Francis Drake, Henry Morgan (later the governor of Hispaniola for England), and Bluebeard the pirate(four and twenty bad boys baked in a pie), all flew the Jolly Roger for England’s benefit. Doing either will provide entertainment which warms the heart AND impresses the neighbors with ones’ own good sense of taste and creative genius and wit. The children will laugh and sing for a change.
    We can and must stop the mess in the Gulf of Mexico. Let us close down all 3,000 plus wells as best and as carefully as we can. I can’t believe BP is still running the show. Let me think.
    Pres. Dover tortures innocent people and mandates molestation uber alles. As did the Bushs. If we could get Congress to stop sucking for just a few moments, they might listen to reason. I realize that their sucking is intense and rivals the intensity of some cosmological sucking phenomena, but a simple tap on the shoulder and advisory that their sucking is way out of control and their non-sucking attention is needed would not be ignored. Congress now tolerates the torture of innocent people and degeneracy does not go much lower. Even animals have their limits. Congress may be sucking too intently to react. BUT WE MUST TRY.
    And to that guy on the net who started ranting and raving at everyone, have you been keeping track? They loaded the WTC’s with thermi(a)te as they built them and then a number of the same “secret society” came back and set up a new complimentary trigger system and coordinated a military based multi-pronged attack as a foreign based entity, with domestic assets, with intent to destroy their ONLY rival.   100. Martin Larner,
    We readily concede that Peak Oil is both complex and highly charged.
    We also admit that we ought to have more clearly stated our knowledge of the facts. As follows:
    (1) All oil and gas found in the crust and mantle are abiotic in nature and abiogenic in origin. The evidence is indisputable, so we must have that understanding to start an intelligent discussion.
    (2) Oil that is located more superficially in the upper crust has simply migrated there through innumerable “conduits” from the lower regions.
    (3) Some oil wells drilled decades ago have partially refilled; others have been known to fully replenished.
    (4) Peak Oil is confusing because two critical aspects which are often conflated either intentionally or ignorantly.
    – the physical supply of oil in the earth is so vast as to be inconceivable inasmuch it is the “lifeblood” of the planet, i.e. the earth requires it for multiple purposes just as the human body requires blood for the circulatory system to properly function.
    – the economically feasible oil is a function of many different variables, many of which can be, and are, manipulated by TPTB (financial controllers of the realm).
    (5) So, Peak Oil ultimately is a pendulum which can be swung in either direction by those who know how to push the right buttons on supply, and pull the right strings on price. Just as it is done with gold, silver, platinum, precious gems and every other valuable commodity.
    Much more to this issue, but we’ll offer this for consideration for now.
    Also, please read BK Lim’s response right below your comment for further elucidation.
    • Martin Larner says:
      Your ‘facts’ are not correct.
      – There is very little evidence that oil is ‘abiotic’ and ‘abiogenic’. See these documentaries for a detailed study of the origins of oil:
      http://www.abc.net.au/science/crude/
      – There is only one example of an oil field ‘refilling’ and this was an anomaly. As with all other oilfields, it then began to decline irreversibly. All Oil fields follow a basic bell shaped graph and eventually deplete to a point where there is neither technically nor financially enough oil left to extract. Where are these ‘many’ wells that have partially or completely replenished? Show me one.
      – This idea that oil is the ‘lifeblood’ of the planet has absolutely no supporting evidence. Oil is however the lifeblood of Industrial Civilisation.
      Ask yourself the following:
      1. If oil wells refill, why has Mexicos Cantarell declined from a peak of 2.4mb/d in 2004 to a little over 400k b/d now? This is why Mexicos economy and society is descending into violence – a massive reduction in oil revenues has left the government powerless.
      2. If Saudi Arabia has ‘limitless oil’ why are they increasingly investing in offshore drilling for deeper, smaller, lower quality and more difficult to exploit reserves?
      3. If Texas oil wells are ‘refilling’ why are wells being abandoned and why is there a push for the Net Energy insane Tar Sands of Alberta and the incredibly difficult and dangerous Gulf of Mexico reserves?
      4. Why has the UK gone from an oil and gas exporter to a Net importer since production peaked in the North Sea in 1999?
      5. Why has US production steadily declined (even in the light of Alaskan Oil coming on line) since 1971 to the point where the US only supplies a third of its own demand?
      I could go on but I don’t see any need. TPTB are not as powerful as you imagine. They do not control the laws of physics, nor can they make a round and finite planet into an infinite one, or force the sudden existence of a substance that took literally 10s of millions of years to form.
      • kelly Mitchell says:
        Martin,
        I agree with you about Peak Oil, field declines and dwindling reserves. There is evidence of abiotic oil, however – it’s well established that Saturn’s moon, Titan, has enormous oceans of liquid methane
        http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/02/080220200045.htm
        – hydrocarbons have obviously come from inorganic means. Any biotic theory of Titan’s methane strains credibility.
        It does not mean there is unlimited oil, of course. And I see little understanding of abiotic process – it’s speculation. Lifeblood of the planet, crust and mantle full of oil – all that is blah-blah. Nobody knows anything about abiotic hydrocarbons except that they exist on Titan. Perhaps our oil is biotic, perhaps it’s a combination. But Legget (on your link) makes no mention of this well-known phenomenon. This nullifies his credibility for me.
      • “The suggestion that petroleum might have arisen from some transformation of squashed fish or biological detritus is surely the silliest notion to have been entertained by substantial numbers of persons over an extended period of time.”
        Sorry folks, but as we stated in the previous comment:
        (1) All oil and gas found in the crust and mantle are abiotic in nature and abiogenic in origin. The evidence is indisputable, so we must have that understanding to start an intelligent discussion. End of this story … unless you choose to read up on the subject at the following link:
        Fossil Fuel Theory for the Origin of Oil and Gas Debunked
        “Where are these ‘many’ wells that have partially or completely replenished?” ….Martin
        Dear Martin Larner,
        I am not sure if you are a geologist by profession but using the above sentence to argue your case is totally out of line irrespective of whether is oil abiogenic or biogenic. You forgot the fundamentals of oil migration and accumulation. Oil does not migrate and accumulate at the same order of pace as oil extraction by the production wells. It takes thousands to millions of years to get where they are; fossil oil or deeper abiotic oil.
        For many reservoirs, the geology might have undergone changes or the migration path no longer permeable. Would appreciate if you think first before opening your flanks wide open for attacks.
        Do you want me to respond to your other assertions?
      • Michael,
        As for all hydrocarbons in the form of oil and gas being abiotic in nature and abiogenic in origin, there is no doubt. This is the scientific factoid which has been conveniently ignored by the Oil & Gas Industry with great purpose. The Fossil Fuel Theory explanation for oil and gas was promoted with specific intent, but that is not the point of this reply.
        We take full responsibility for introducing the notion of Peak Oil into this essay. It really does not belong here, as it is very complicated and easily misunderstood because it has become such a hot-button political and economic issue.
        While we fully agree that the planet has reached Peak Oil, our firm contention is that the Fossil Fuel Theory has no relevance to this matter because it is untrue for oil and gas.
        Your comments about depletion (in those referenced locations) may certainly be correct, as are ours on the regeneration of hydrocarbons, albeit at a much slower rate through crustal migration. We did not say that all wells or most wells replenish; only that some do, depending on where they are (surrounding geological formations), the pressures involved and how open the natural “conduits” are.
        Whereas our respective positions are not necessarily mutually exclusive, the global strategy and machinations of the TPTB are quite difficult to factor in and only serve to gum up the works further obfuscating a rather complex issue.
        Thank you for bringing needed attention to this particular piece of the article, as it was in need of further clarification.
        There was NEVER a reason to use oil and coal – ALL the clean energy we needed was available – THE ONLY REASON oil was used it because a SMALL HANDFUL of powerful men controlled the resources and saw where they could be in control and amass fortunes going that route.
    A frequently asked question:
    ~~~~~~~
    Did BP intentionally drill into the salt-dome ground, knowing that the unstoppable gusher was inevitable?
    ~~~~~~~
    Before I started to dig into the disaster there were already signs that something was not right. The Whiting Dome, Gloria Dome, Biloxi Dome and many others are Salt Dome first. But they are a different type of salt domes – Allochthonous Salt dome. They could have drilled slightly away (1 – 2 km ) like the Texaco well from the edge of the vertical Salt structure. But no, they have to choose the worst possible location where the deformation is most intense. It would not have been so bad if all the 3 wells had not drilled into a regional strike-slip fault which was the original pathway for the salt intrusion millions of years ago. Although active salt intrusion has ceased or slowed, gas still escape through the fractured geology. That was the reason for the existence of mud volcanoes in the region. There are a few more factors but basically it is a complex add-on of several fragile situations over another.
    Was it intentional? Initially I did not think so. I have seen sheer stupidity in so many prominent projects I have been consulted before so this was not so surprising to me. Then many tips and questions like this started to pour in. So I decided to pursue the few leads I had. Looking at the recovery efforts (after the blowout) and the geohazards survey and assessment (before the blowout), the telling signs of an intentional objective are unmistakable. I have seen many cases in my professional career before.
    For example in 1991 Shell wanted to site the Bajt-F platform at location smack in the middle of a 2 km wide high risk shallow gas zone seen in the 3D seismic. We did a survey and confirmed the high shallow gas risk. I recommended shifting the platform to a safer location 1 km away. Was surprised the management disagreed and asked to amend my professional assessment. At that time I could not understand why would anyone want to “intentionally” want to drill into a gas hazardous zone. For more than 2 years their “carrot” did not work, so they resorted to the “stick”. I resigned at the end of 1993. I was seen as the stumbling block to their development plans. But there is always someone willing to take your place to revise the assessment to safe for a “price”.
    They drilled in Feb 1994 3 months after I left and had 2 consecutive blow-outs. They were going for the 3rd blowout until I was recalled back by one conscientious Shell manager who thought they were heading towards an even bigger disaster. Like a mild version of a “coup de’tat” movie we took control of the chaotic “base operation control”, shifted the platform location to my 1991 safe location, successfully tested it and left. I did not want to work there anymore. The errant young subservient geohazards expert? He got promoted. The errant geohazards contractor? They pulled strings like BP and even got their contract renewed for the next consecutive 6 terms (18 years) – a record in SSB history. 16 years later looking back with what I know now, there must have been some grand scheme behind all these “accidental mistakes” at the very top level. Everyone else below were manipulated.
    Is it intentional? Probably not entirely but there was a lot of vested interest pressuring for “things that occur accidentally” to happen. It is like the astrologer choosing an auspicious date for an event to coincide with some planetary alignment. Obstacles and regulations were circumvented or removed. Was the requirement for the “acoustic switch” waived for some reason?
    If you had been following 911, you would have noticed the number of coincidences that needed to happen in the correct sequence before and after the “event”. What is the chance of getting the 6 digit combination lock to open by accident?
    30 years ago I could never imagine myself thinking any disaster could be anything but accidental. But modern societies have been so desperate for any ingenious means of striking a windfall, immorality and conscience just got thrown out the window. Engineering a disaster is much easier than we (the normal human beings) think. They exploited common weaknesses, stupidity and accidental nature of natural disasters to pull the different trigger at the right sequence at the right time. If we reconstruct the events backwards we can separate the MIHOP disasters from real accidental disasters. Of course, always follow the money.
    The PIKE river Mine is another disaster that should be looked into. Why tunnel into a known fault zone without adequate precautions? Was it just to save costs or something else? I do not have the answers now, but the investigators need to look beyond what is presented to them on a “silver platter”. Not all is what it seems. What are they teaching at business schools nowadays?
    A crime is not a crime until you are caught with your pants down?
    For me “A crime is a crime if it is morally wrong irrespective of the amount of profit it brings”.
    It logically follows that success in accomplishing the breach of containment was the reason for this endeavor, and not the process itself as the objective. The result was known to be an intended uncontrolled ‘gargantuan’ flow.
    It is also logical and can be safely assumed that a continuance of free-flow of some duration was in the initial plan. In fact, an uncontrollable flow for a duration to suit some specific purpose. Because certain affects were unavoidable, given such an offense against the reality of the formation and high pressure contained therein, the nature of the impact of this flow would have to be destructive and environmentally disastrous for a vast portion of the northern GOM if not the entire gulf or beyond.
    And it is safe to say that the resultant dispersion of over a million gallons of toxic Corexit instead of a better dispersant was to render the escaping crude oil uncollectable and relatively unuseable.
    And given the known truths known about Corexit, this contamination was designed to kill off life in the waters of the GOM and harm those citizens living within some distance of the coast with spraying of this poison by the CIA Airline, Evergreen Airways.
    B K Lim,
    Could you look at this video and give your assessment please? It was presented back in October, before all the mass deaths of fish and birds. The theory involves the geology created in the Gulf after a meteor hit it millions of years ago. It alleges that pressure from oil and gas resulting from the BP disaster are being forced up through the fractured rock structure towards the New Madrid fault and opening a caldera in Arkansas.
      globetrotter
      I am in the middle of preparing a geological paper on this. My theory is different from what was presented in the video. Please wait for the paper which is quite long and incorporates the plate movements to explain the recent spate of low mag shallow earthquakes, consistent with observations in the vicinity of the well.
      Although the reservoir may be high pressured, the initial blowout force (first and even the more powerful 2nd explosion) did not have the power, volume and sustainability to force the oil up 20,000 ft to seafloor, over 150 sq miles from a single well or a collective conduit of faulted/fissured rocks surrounding the blown well. Although the geology is fragile by comparison with igneous geology, it is not that fragile. If the well blowout was so powerful, the seafloor in the vicinity would have to be completely devastated and even well A’s wellhead (the shallowest of the 3 at 720 ft away) would not be standing. Makes sense doesn’t it?
      We must remember that force radiating from a point (in comparison with 150 sq miles) dissipates at the inverse of the cube of distance (1/r3) approximately even in a uniform medium. With a more complex stratified geology, the interactive forces from refracted and reflected energies counteracting would limit the “instant continuous forward force” model. I would prefer a more subtle less disruptive, constant acting (pulsating) process. It is like a charged up system being released, causing stress releases and intensifying existing sub-seabed erosion and seepage processes. I have consistently stated that gas in combination with brine is a very corrosive agent; facilitating sub-seabed erosion in the faults and penetration into formation fissures and fractures for the more viscous oil seeps to follow. The fundamentals of erosion, permeability, fluid hydraulic and migration apply.
      The Macondo Disaster accelerated and supercharged these slow natural processes a few notches up the speed scale. The sub-seabed erosion will enable hazardous oil and gases to seep further and wider as time goes on, even beyond the 150 sq mile area. It will have a snowball effect since many of the older capped wells will leak more or start to leak even if they had not in the past.
      Yes the problems have not been solved. Just hidden from public view. They will multiply and escalate in time though the rate is still uncertain because we do not have the necessary quantitative data to chart the trends.
      To illustrate the over-reaction and over-simplification of facts in geohazards assessment, consider the question of imposing a total ban on on air flights over Europe caused by the recent volcanic eruption in Iceland. Although 4 jet engines failed on the 1982 BA09 flight after passing through the ash cloud, it must be borne in correct perspective that the flight path was less than 200 km from the erupting volcano Mount Galunggung. In contrast, EU airspace is thousands of km from Iceland’s Eyjafjallajokull volcano. Simple logic dictates that the particle size of the volcanic ash would diminish exponentially with distance from the erupting source as the heavier and more destructive larger factions progressively dropped back to ground without the powerful eruptive force of the volcano. The concentration or density of the volcanic ash, the vertical and lateral distribution of the ash clouds are also key factors since at low concentration, the ash would not be sufficient to clog the powerful jet flow. In essence, hazards assessment is more than just the simplistic aerial distribution of ash clouds (or amplitude anomalies in seismic interpretation) as shown by the satellite imagery.
      Just as drilling locations had been moved unnecessarily to get away from pseudo-geohazards only to drill at even worse geohazardous location, the flight ban over Europe had been totally unnecessary since the vertical extent, particle size and concentration would have been too minute to cause any serious damage. The lateral distribution of the ash clouds (visible from the satellite above) may appear menacing and “potentially hazardous” even if the ash particles are too fine and the thickness of ash clouds strata too thin to cause any significant damage. The Eyjafjallajokull volcano eruption flight ban exemplifies the over-reactions, over-simplification and the real dilemma facing any disasters predictions.
      A total ban without knowing the root causes of the disaster would only lead to disasters of a different kind. There are clearly many things wrong with the oil industry but the “wrong medicine” would be a cure worse than the disease itself. Has advanced drilling technology actually decreased the number of disasters? Or has it merely suppressed and postponed the disasters to a later date with far more disastrous consequences. Assessing the risks of disasters using superficial data in isolation and imposing arbitrary limits to offshore drilling without understanding the underlying root causes would be a grave mistake. It would be an over-simplification on the same magnitude as the recent total flight over Europe. Surely the underlying root causes could not be that simple.
      The many “illnesses and wrongs” are not unique to the oil industry. New disasters may be in the making elsewhere not necessarily in the oil industry. The problems need to be solved now and fast.
      Dear Nightbreeze, an excellent point you made Sir. Thank you. FR sent.
      Just to clarify one point however, I do not believe the characterization of flight bans in Europe as analogous to “over-reaction and over-simplification of facts” in geohazards assessments is entirely accurate.
      ~~~~end of quote~~~~~~
      I am so glad I finally have someone from the airline profession to query me further on that example since last year (2010). I commented on the BBC, Chanel News Asia, New York Post etc and never got the comments posted. Since then I have posted it several times including a paper I presented in June 2010.

      In that flight (BA09 flight 1982), the plane was within 200 km of the vertical column of ash cloud (inhomogeneous mix particles of volcanic glass). Discovery Channel showed an excellent documentary on it. Bless them for these informative shows.
      ~~~~quote~~~~
      …Galunggung (sp?) in Indonesia. All four jet engines quit within one minute. The plane dropped from 36,000 feet to 13,000 feet before the crew was able to restart each of the engines. (Pilots have found that jet engines can often be restarted once the aircraft drops to a lower altitude, as the glass on the engine parts hardens, shatters, and falls away.)
      ~~~~~end of quote~~~~~
      The keyword here is “vertical column” or thick strata of ash cloud. How far would a jet have travelled in 30 seconds? From http://hypertextbook.com/facts/2002/JobyJosekutty.shtml, with an average speed of 250m/s, the distance is 7.5 km. Therefore the thickness of the ash stratum or strata must total at least 7km for the jet engines to be clogged up by the molten volcanic ash. (I am using 30 secs arbitrarily). In the 2010 volcanic eruptions, I would not recommend the airlines to fly across Iceland, since the ash clouds would be much thicker than this. You can see this from the photos taken from the ground below at a distance (angle shots).

      But by the time the ashes had floated over Europe, thickness (factor 1) would have been considerably less. Again the volume spread over an area many times the size of Iceland.

      Factor 2 – the particle size of the ash would have been much finer over Europe, (particle size distribution vs distance and the velocity of the air currents).

      Factor 3 – the ash would have been dispersed resulting in the density or concentration of the ash in air to be much lower over Europe than over Iceland.

      Factor 4 – the thin ash strata would have separated into more uniform particle size at each strata ie light and finer ash particles at higher altitude and heavier ash at lower altitude. Near to the source at Iceland, the ash cloud is an inhomogeneous mix. If you remember in the TOP KILL of well A, they tried to use “junk shots” to create turbulent and disruptive flows to have a better chance of blocking the gas-oil gush. The same principle applies.

      I am not suggesting that the Airline industry “relax” their excellent and tight enforcement. I wish such enforcement is possible or so readily accepted in the oil industry as we have clearly seen in the BP disaster. But grounding all the flights caused hardships and billions of dollars lost not to mention the disruption to modern society – finance, business etc. We rely on satellite pictures – an excellent tool but we must add the necessary attributes to the analyses. Finally when the airlines could not stand the losses, some brave souls flew the jets to prove what could have been calculated at the onset. On hindsight, experiments and researches could have been performed to work out more criteria for banning specific zones in preparation for another volcanic eruption (more frequent volcanic activities forecast) .

      I brought up this issue (and excellent example) because in the geohazards industry, most of the experts would use the most visible attributes in their analyses ignoring the more important unseen ones. These are usually the more conspicuous attributes.

      In the BP disaster, even the most evident attributes were ignored as I have already shown in the forensic analyses on the bathymetric data and some of the geological factors. I have not yet shown the evidences from the deeper seismic section and deeper geology. Were they incompetent – No I do not think so. But I have seen many professionals (vessel masters, geologists, surveyors etc) thrown off their jobs when they tried to put some practical and professional senses into the “business – commercial plans. Speak up and be damned but in the dismissal reports – these unsung heroes were put down for insubordination, troublesome, incooperative etc. History is written by the victors and in these true cases I have witnessed first hand – job performance is written by the immediate boss. Again I do not advocate objection without reasons.

      All these would have fallen on deaf ears if not for a disaster of this magnitude which they could not cover up. But you can clearly see the difference between the Total Flight Ban over Europe and the BP disaster. One was clearly “naturally accidental”; the other “manually accidental” if there are such words or as Dr Termotto coined it MIHOP.

    Curious, could Corexit have ANY connection at all to the sudden death of birds and fish around the country and world?

  112. Robert says:

    Sorry to be slow, but I still don’t understand: what is the reason(s) that BP and/or the government might have for causing the blowout? What do they gain from it?

  113. Howard T. Lewis III says:

    S Kirby, thank you for the response. Given the nature of my comment, it should be understood that I would not be the primary source of this information. And neither would the internet be the primary source. Many major cities have law libraries which necessarily stack congressional hearings which provide un adulterated testimony record concerning acts of questionable legality or of other matters. This is the BEST place to glean sworn testimony and find corrupt, vicious officials. For example, Evergreen airways reputation was called into question in the 1975 Sen. Frank Church hearings checking on illegal CIA activities which reportedly included heroine importation along with Air America. Later hearings and reports between this and the spraying of huge amounts of Corexit against the advice of our own EPA as well as every European nation I have heard of constitutes the commission of an act of great magnitude contrary to positive interest. An MO of felonious and/or lethal anti-social heinous behavior is established. This coincides with the Congressional finding that this DH drilling operation was done intentionally. Certainly the mass application of the highly poisonous Corexit was deliberate.
    So what? You say. Evergreen air was a CIA asset throughout. The Skull and Bones Society and the CIA are two branches of the same group. The CIA was formed from the Oh So Social (OSS) group who had tea daily with British intelligence. And if you look at GHW’s and GW’s desk and history, Halliburton, S&B’s, and CIA business take up a lot of space.
    The internet can guide you to articles and relevant documentations and that not on the internet can be learned from service personnel and law libraries. I would try to stuff these materials through the wires butn that doesn’t work. Start with Phil Agee’s books. Frank Church hearings on Illegal activities by the U.S. Intelligence community and the fbi. Put George HW Bush on a polygraph. He could tell you alot about Evergreen Air. Evergreen Air, as I recall started business in Washington state about 1967. They caught on quickly with government work which if not still in records somewhere reinforces my loathing for the perps who have gained control of the record and are currently destroying this country on many fronts.
    Law libraries’ Government Stacks are Indexed. Someone stole the Church hearings and Rockefeller Assassination Hearings which were not supposed to have been distributed to Law School libraries. Pity.
    Video and print sources have logoed Evergreen Air tankers spraying Corexit in the GOM.

  114. Howard T. Lewis III says:

    Oops. The Church hearings and Rockefeller hearings were stolen from the library Branch I used, I don’t know about others. They are gems of the greatness of open government. The Church hearings are over 15,000 pages and I read them all. Read them before the pigs root them out for destruction.

  115. Howard T. Lewis III says:

    The first two CEO’s of BlackRock Investments, who managed BP’s money for North America and were an owner of the Corexit factories were S&B’s. You may find likewise for Evergreen. I don’t know yet
    Judging from the S&B’s conduct, they are maintaining a loyalty to the English crown that goes back 400 years. Bluebeard the pirate, later given a high post by the English crown supposedly sang this to attract sailors,’Sing a song of six-pence, a pocket full of rye. Four and twenty bad boys baked in a pie. When the pie was opened the boys began to sing. Wasn’t that a dainty dish to set before the king.” That Bluebeard/rhyme corelation was from wikipedia but I swear to you the rest of the above is not.

    2007 NYT Book Review by Joseph E. Stiglitz, now Vice President Joe Biden’s personal economist. I’m not quite sure how the Gulf oil disaster benefits big business now that the whole world understands that they own the government and the media and all resistance is futile. Maybe that’s it – they just got tired of trying to hide it.

  118. Howard T. Lewis III says:

    One more small detail then I promise I will shut up for a few days.
    BlackRock Investments was recently spawned from BlackStone Investments. BlackStone Investments came up with about $150 million of Larry Silverstein’s $166 million to buy the WTC’s from the N.Y.C. and N.J. Port Authorities a few weeks before 9-11-2001. The buildings were falling apart AND losing over $10 million a year and had no fibre-optic cable for computers. Added up, this was an over-sized liability and the rest is history. DROPPED ON PURPOSE. I will never forgive those who re-fused and set off the charges.

    I get that the sea floor is pouring oil through porous rock
    from a possible river of oil into the GOM. I get that pressure
    of rock in the earth as the origin of oil. I also get that the

    very well alter and slow the Gulf currents and thus change
    AGW. I get that the GOM is being depopulated and turned
    into another Caspian Sea. The use of a rising Phoenix out

    I heard Mathew Simmons say pretty much the same thing.
    He was dismissed as delusional. He drowned last Aug 2010

    I dismissed what he was saying and I will not buy what
    you are saying until I see it at other sources. I am

    Ian said “This was a population reduction event!”

    What kind of environmentalists or zero-population advocates would try to reduce human population by destroying an ecosystem like the Gulf of Mexico? Wouldn’t they try methods that would destroy only people and not wildlife?

  129. Howard T. Lewis III says:

    If I may point out that the past U.S. Civil War, World War I , World War II, and the current genocidal racist war against the middle East were and are all culling of the herd events. Turns out Osama bin Laden had absolutely nothing to do with 9-11. Morons and psychopaths in the government yell, “KILL, KILL,KILL”.
    Apparently the thinning of the herd has been misdirected to the wrong entities. The U.S. is spreading genetically damaging radio-active isotopes all over Iraq and Afghanistan and spreading.
    So, Robert, you can’t figure out who blew the DH well even though the Congressional report nailed BP and Halliburton (download the pdf.) for doing it intentionally? According to testimony, numerous non-BP pros TESTIFIED that BP violated numerous structural requirements and procedures and in many cases VIOLATED THE LAW in creating this mess.
    Steady, lad.

  130. Robert says:

    Well if these are intentional population culling tactics by the government, BP, and Halliburton, seems to be Keystone Kops environmentalism. I’m not sure which we have to fear more: their plans or their incompetence.

  131. Howard T. Lewis III says:

    Like a baboon with a laptop, their born-on-third-base-believing-that-they-hit-a-home-run attitude and self-aggrandizing plans ARE incompetence, so throwing feces and destruction are their only personal skills. Feeding is not a skill.
    They and their minions also have a history of murdering people they don’t like, which is just about everyone in reach. That is why the huge underground shelters were friendly contractor built for ‘worthy’ genetic slag.
    Lack of oversight of a congress full of mewling little suckers and psychopaths, and their lazy-and-stupid-taxpayer-funded credit card procurement practices got us all to this. Ask around, most everyone in town does not have a clue. Thank the Council on Foreign Relations. But it is a safe bet NONE of our homies think blowing out the GOM was a good idea. Now the perps will eventually insist they did it because the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico was heaving and they did it to save humanity. They have not thought of that explanation yet because their empires are lost and their economies kaput! Panic is their crown.
    The largest concentration of social security and welfare and gov’t funded medical care recipients in the U.S. live along the Gulf coast between Texas and Florida. Mathematically, removing (conservatively) 10 years from each downwind resident’s life from the expected benzene, Met-chloride,etc., times 12 months per year, times a MINIMUM of $1000.00 per month for benefits and S.S. or welfare or private insurance plan, times at least 2 million recipients and all of a sudden, the National Debt is paid off already. Sounds like GW Bush doesn’t it? Guess who owns Halliburton. It basically is a done deal unless miracle cures are available.
    YOU ARE NUTS!! you say. That is what they yelled at me 40 years ago when I correctly informed my friends about the WTC’s and Sears tower being rigged for demolition as they were built, with nukes in the basements. Friends did not know how far a bunch of unthinking self-centered pin-heads will go eating their way into the core of a rotten Big-Apple to satisfy their own Benny the Rat addled souls.
    But do your homework. Check out the world wars, watch the madness on Omaha beach in Normandy on June 6, 1944 as depicted by Steven Spielberg in Saving Private Ryan, look at the birth defects amongst our own recently returning soldiers’ new offspring as well as the millions of defects and deaths from American weapons in Iraq and Afghanistan. See how many millions of civilians Chiang Kai-Shek and Mao tse-Tung (Yale Skull and Bones alumnus) laid to waste. Skull and Bones members who used assumed names and led the Bolshevik revolution with Rothchild money (the ‘genius behind the curtain’) murdered many millions of peasant as well as more educated Christians in Poland and Russia.
    There is lots to learn, and don’t enlist. Work for the U.S. Marshalls so we can get some of these fucks behind bars or run through the chipper machine. Watch American football, the first game with a ball the shape of the eye in the pyramid capstone, 4 conspiracies to accomplish a measured success, using the bomb, the blitz, etc. in a marshalled attack, moving down field into enemy territory,… til sudden death, instead of extra innings.
    Just say NO to powders, and YES to victory in November. Let us coordinate phone banks behind Mr. BKLim to encourage congress to open the DH site for uninteruppted, free inspections by non-BP and non-federal scientists not prone to sucking. Talk to your local social and political activists as to how to do this. Or organize something along these lines. No whiners.
